Went on a great journey with my dad, and headed towards lesser slave lake. We were in touch with this fishing guide, he called the day of our fishing reservation. And the wind was not in our favor, so the time we booked did not end up working out. He had his afternoon clients cancel, and "if it calms down I will call you and we can go out". I called him at 11:45 am, he had sent his Son out to servey the lake and said we're good to go. We were told he would meet us at the dock at 12:30pm.
Well I received a phone call that he ( the guide) got called into work!
And his son was going to take us out.
At first we felt ripped off, but to all amazement. This 17 year old boy was amazing the minute he pulled up in truck boat trailing behind. It was a pkantoon boat! It looked asif it could hold 12 people, but there fir me and my Dad. (We looked in amazement and awe, just for us)
He unladed the boat into the water all alone, he was courteous, respectful, accommodating, and more importantly professional/knowledgeable.
We went out for 3 hours and again the next day... ( the next day has not happened before this post, but I will post that experience as well)
But b0ack the the 3 hours. We arrived at the fishing hole the you guide set us up and showed us what to do. I swear on everything that is important to me, with no embellishments, but with in those 3 hours we lost count at 120 fi
Weleyes and that was the first hour and a half. Legal size to keep is 45cm to 50cm everything but 4 as well as 2 northern pikes were to big to keep lmao đ€Ł best time if my life...
Can't wait to tell you what we catch tomorrow. Thanks Chris! (Yhe 17 yr old)
He plays hockey I would not want to find my self between the boards and him!
Thanks Chris
