I wish I could give them no stars. When I moved in here and neighbors said, "they are slumlords" "you wont get any repairs done". I thought it was the 10% of people who just had bad experiences..... nope haha after a year I have learned that to live here you must have a firm grasp on the Residential Tenancies Act.... because Single Light Investments does not. Oh and kiss your free time goodbye, that's dedicated to the Landlord Tenant Board now.

How many people think that their rent is way too high? I firmly believe something fishy is going on with "All" Landlords.

They are manipulating a system that was designed to protect minimum wage and fixed income earners. Countless times I've seen it with my own eyes in "Brantford"

Rents do no reflect any relation to the current Guideline. It makes absolutely no sense, all it takes is a simple math structure to determine if you're landlord is an "Honest" one.

I firmly believe that in order for a landlord to raise the rent above the regulated guideline price they need to terminate leases before they come to term.

My family and I have spent over 1k in administrative fees on behalf of the landlord. We've been made victims of the Sheriffs Protocols because the Landlord filed and "PAID" for that notice to have us evicted.

We secured our "RIGHTS" as tenants. We were issued a Receipt of payment by the landlord. A receipt the landlord "forgot" to provide when reporting to the sheriff's office. This is called "filing misleading information. This is a violation of the RTA.

We quickly had the Boards decision rescinded. What confused me is the Board did not issue that this Landlord be Reprimanded in any sort for its omission of pertinent information. By now this should sound funny to anyone who reads this. The company in Question is Single Light Investments Inc.

We have been here for 3 years. This company has multiple channels of Revenue coming in. The City rarely enforces By-Law violations against this Landlord. They do well to suppress the shade they hide in.

WE NEED HELP! WE NEED TO STOP ALL LANDLORDS FROM DIRECTLY INFLUENCING WHAT THE "GOVERNMENT" CALLS INFLATION. LANDLORDS HAVE TURNED THE "RTA" INTO A PYRAMID SCHEME THAT HURTS US ALL EQUALLY, AND MORE SO PEOPLE AND WHO ARE VULNERABLE TO THIS TYPE OF MANIPULATION. THAT IS PEOPLE ON FIXED INCOMES AND LOW INCOME EARNERS TO BE CLEAR.

Everyone needs to understand that this is not a personal angle the Landlord or their agents are taking on tenants. Its sole purpose is to keep a high turn over rate so they keep units empty.**** Empty units on broken leases are exempt from the Increase Guidlines regulated by the Goverment.****

Worst place to rent. High rental prices, dirty outdated building and a very rude landlord. Currently I am packing to move Dec. 30 th and for the past 3 weeks have been harassed by people trying to get in my door and getting on the roof to access my balcony and bedroom window. This happens every night.bivwas a clean quiet tennant. The only reason I could have given them not to like me was I'm gay

They think they can give someone a know trespassing order with out taking them to court the super said to me the father of my children can only come on his two vist days of the week or she would call the police they didnt even take the guy to court the super just makes up her own rules as she goes along i swear the super is trying to get me to move by making up rules
