I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Edmondson, whose dismissive and unempathetic approach left me feeling completely unheard during a time of intense pain. While visiting the Okanagan Valley, I sustained a severe back injury that left me immobile for three days. When I finally managed to get to the clinic, I described all my symptoms—intense pain, inability to sit or move, and even hearing my bones crack. Despite this, Dr. Edmondson didn’t take my concerns seriously and, shockingly, didn’t order an X-ray.

When I mentioned I hadn’t taken painkillers in over a decade, she seemed irritated and responded with a judgmental, condescending look, rather than understanding my preference. Unsatisfied with her assessment, I immediately booked a call with my own physician afterward, who ordered an X-ray. This revealed two fractured and displaced ribs.

This experience left me deeply disappointed. It’s especially troubling when healthcare professionals lack compassion and attentiveness. I hope this review encourages Dr. Edmondson to approach future patients with empathy and thoroughness.

After moving down here and finding this doctor, she has looked into things more than any other doctor has including one that had me having surgery right away for 3 VERY large fibroids, which no other doctor thought of after me being anemic for years.

I agree with Tammi's assessment of this doctor. Many reviews say she is terrible. People in the community say she is terrible. She missed her calling. She would be better as a large animal veterinarian for the obvious reasons.

Definitely not a great feeling seeing this doctor. Sadly, there is no bedside etiquette - not sympathetic, no empathy, and generally, you get the feeling she'd rather be anywhere but there. Felt like she was judging me rather than caring for me. It's as though to her any symptoms are real or imagined & you feel like you're wasting her time.

It's a fantastic place and this small town is very lucky to have a clinic like this. The downright rude reviews about this clinic is pretty disgusting, silly people who dont understand that this town could have zero doctors and we are lucky to have several at the clinic. My doctor is Dr Edmunson and she is wonderful. Honestly these crank reviews google should just take down because they aren't fair and it's not like the clinic can tell us the whole story anyway because they are professionals. Dr edmunson is a good Dr and we are lucky to have her in sicamous.

Great place to go if you want to die. My girlfriend went in for gallbladder attacks. "Dr" Edmondson proceeded to lecture her about drinking (she wasn't drinking heavily), tell her that the visible gallstones from the imaging weren't the cause of her pain, prescribed her acetaminophen (a liver toxin which would be the last thing you'd want if alcohol were causing liver issues, which it wasn't) and did nothing to help the issue. My girlfriend has since seen real doctors and has had her gallbladder removed, solving the issue.

I've been seeing Dr. Edmondson for about 8 months and in that time have received great health care. I think she's a great doctor. Also the front staff are very friendly.

Never been a good doctor there. I went in once to get blood work done after an incident where I fainted and fell down stairs, and the doctor told me to be less dramatic and tell them what really happened ?
