I have been with Shuman Insurance for 30 years and really didn't pay attention at my Insurance rate. But now I am moving again and I checked on Insurance with another agency using same underwriter SGI and found out a difference of 1000 dollars. WOW - Asked Christine how this was possible. She snotted me off said the other agency didn't know what they where doing. Just to find out she was the one that didn't know what she was doing. MAKE SURE TO SHOP AROUND BEFORE USING SHUMAN INSURANCE.

Till recently Shuman has been great but after my broker left and no one from the company notified me I found myself speaking to the owner who told me "I don't have to let anyone know when someone leaves". I was asked to get a vehicle inspection which I have done before without issue and this time I was told it wasn't received. I checked with the mechanic who showed me the email he had sent and instead of calling me again to notify me they sent me a notice of cancellation and wanted me to pay out of pocket for another inspection. I called five times having to talk to them and try to resolve the situation but nothing got fixed.
