From the moment we booked, all details were perfectly taken care of. Property is very well maintained, landscaped and beautifully decorated. The property is well appointed for anyone with mobility issues. Not too many steps, handrails, flat, etc. |Everything was in great condition; we even saw a family of swans swimming on the lake right before sunset! The sound of the water was peaceful. A great escape from Toronto. Thank you.

I stayed at Shorehill with my extended family a few days ago (mid-June). We rented the Conrad and Melville adjoining cottages, which worked out great for our group of adults and small children. I loved the spacious balcony (accessible from both cottages) and easy access to the dock. The cottages were clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated.
John gave us plenty of information prior to our arrival re. wineries and restaurants and things to see, which helped a lot. I definitely recommend this property, and can’t wait to visit again!

We recently had the pleasure of spending two nights at Shorehill Cottages on the Water in the Melville Unit. This was our first first time venturing away since CoVid hit. We were very pleased with the contactless check in and all of the safety precautions that were in place.
Our original intent was to enjoy patio meals at some of the local restaurants.
However the view was so lovely and we were so comfortable that we ended up having all our meals there. The sunsets were spectacular.
We were so impressed that we booked directly with John for a longer stay next year.

We had an incredible stay at the Melville and Conrad cottages last weekend: the properties are beautifully styled and the views, deck, and dock are spectacular. John is a welcoming and organized host who answered all of our questions promptly. Our group of 9 (small kids in tow) had lots of space and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook big family meals. The location was perfect for visiting all the wineries and beaches of PEC. Highly recommend the Shorehill!

My family and I stayed at the Shorehill Cottages this past weekend for a peaceful getaway. The cottage is well decorated and stocked with kitchen and bath essentials. John is always available for any questions that you may have and quick to respond for assistance. The dock overlooking the water is amazing, especially during sunset. We spotted a couple of herrings and a family of ducks while on the dock. This is a great place to stay at as it's a few minutes away from downtown Picton. We definitely will be coming back again.

Shorehill has a lovely setting on a quiet inlet minutes from Picton. We stayed in the Melville cottage which was beautifully decorated, with many classic pieces and special touches. Cozy and relaxing, it was the ideal restorative holiday. We enjoyed the lazy days on the dock and incredible sunsets. Looking forward to our next stay!

My family and I have just returned from a beautifully relaxing week at Shorehill. We stayed in the Verne cottage and I have to say, all of our needs were met and then some. The front, screened in veranda was a highlight for us. We called it the "magical room" where the sunset would shine in as we ate diner and the soft breeze and water views would make morning coffee delightful. John thought of every amenity for our stay and his list of places to go and see was spot on. The covid precautions were overt and obvious which allowed us to holiday with confidence. Thank-you for the wonderful memories of our holiday at Shorehill my family now shares!

We had a fantastic getaway at Shorehill. The cottage - Conrad is lovely, homely, super clean and tastefully furnished. Every thing was well thought out. John is amazing - friendly, accommodating and even went out of his way to provide us with excellent recommendations during our stay.
