I had the best experience with this dealership. I have bought many Volkswagen vehicles, but this is the first one from this dealership, and I guarantee I will be going back. All the steps from walking into walking out everyone’s friendly, courteous, no pressure, and actually takes the time to see what you want. I can say with 100% certainty I would not be as happy with my new Volkswagen if it wasn't for Emily. Every step of the car buying experience was made better having her as my person. She helped me find the right size, the right quality; the whole service that I needed for my family. Emily's knowledge base on the products she sells was beyond compare. Had an absolutely wonderful, quick and painless experience purchasing my vehicle here. I initially reached out on Facebook marketplace and was promptly greeted by a friendly salesperson, Fred. He was beyond helpful and patient with me. Ray and Asma in finance made the process easy and fast. Sharing my extreme disappointment with my recent car-buying experience at Sherwood Park Volkswagen. Given the high volume and reputation of your dealership, I expected a smooth and professional process, but unfortunately, it was anything but that. Every touchpoint got worse.

From the start, the sales manager, Freddie, was not forthcoming about key details of the purchase, leading to an underwhelming result and unnecessary confusion. To make matters worse, the sales associate we had been working with was fired during the process, leaving us without a point of contact. Instead of proactive communication, we were forced to follow up daily for two weeks just to get updates on the status of our vehicle.

After raising my concerns at delivery, I was made to feel belittled and embarrassed as Freddie informed me ‘he would never agree’ to the terms we originally discussed. We left the dealership incredibly frustrated with the final product, no assurance of a solution being possible. My wife was nearly in tears.

This level of disorganization, deception, lack of customer care is how the auto industry got its reputation. Buying a car should be an exciting experience, not a frustrating and exhausting one. I expected transparency, professionalism, and efficiency—none of which were delivered. The management + ownership team clearly is disconnected from how their team actually operates.
