We did the puffin tour on July 26th. The weather was amazing, and we saw thousands of puffins. The captain Alec is great, and very concerned about customer comfort and safety. Even with our clear skies and seemingly calm waters, we crossed over rough spots that were rocking the boat quite a bit at times. To everyone complaining about cancelations, believe me, you wouldn't want to be out there in rough waters, and just because the water looks calm from land, doesn't mean it is. Don't question decisions made for your comfort and safety, especially when you clearly have no understanding or experience operating boats on sea. I expected my tour to be canceled, and if that was the case, would have just retried another year (although we may do so either way as it was an incredible experience).

Great day on the water despite no whales (they were hiding after the remnants of Hurricane Debby passed through the day before). Friendly crew put in a lot of effort to searching for whales - we were out on the water 5 hours total. Did see porpoise/dolphin. Large comfortable boat - still cold out there in August so bring your layers. They did Not charge us because we saw no whales, so they lost a lot of money that day. We would definitely book with them again.

Absolute incredible experience, I can’t say enough about this tour or the captains! We saw porpoises, tons of dolphins, seals, puffins, various sea birds and so many humpbacks! What a thrill! What I didn’t know is their guarantee means you don’t pay if they don’t find whales but honestly, I found the trip worth the money even before the whales! We were out for almost 5.5 hours and saw so much wildlife that I would have felt it was worth it even without whales! But we did see whales and lots of them! You have great viewing from all sides and can move around so no worries about being able to see. Only thing, watch the last step getting in, more of a ladder than a step really. Very step and shallow step. 100% recommend this tour and company and stay in Seal Cove after for an amazing meal at Tides Inn and Social, my other favourite thing in Seal Cove!

Phenomenal crew, and the history lesson you get on the ride out is a very nice touch. They offer you a money back guarantee if you don’t see a whale, but it’s for a reason: Because they’re great at what they do, so if you hire them, then you’re going to definitely see a whale on your trip. Everyone on the island will ask you if you’re taking Lambert’s to go whale-watching. However, my whale-watching experience with this company was incapable of being topped. They’ll get you right in the center of the action, as far as where the whales are, in the bay.

One of the best experiences in nature that I have ever had in my life, and a day that my girlfriend and I will never forget. You would’ve thought that they were paying the whales to perform for all of us, because we got to see the whales do so many cool things while we were out there.

If you’re going to go whale watching off of Grand Manan, then go with this company. You’re in safe, experienced, and knowledgeable hands. You will definitely have a great experience on the water that day.

incredible experience! would highly recommend! we did puffin & skiff tour today and had a phenomenal experience. our original tour was canceled due to unsafe weather on a Monday, but we were lucky to quickly reschedule for Wednesday and were very thankful for the good weather. captain and crew were very friendly, accommodating, and fun. throughout the tour, we spotted hundreds (thousands) of puffins flying and diving, porpoise, grey and harbour seals, arctic terns, and more. on the way back, we got a free hot chocolate (props to them for using reusable mugs with lids instead of Styrofoam cups!) which helped to warm us up. be sure to bring sunblock, a snug hat, sunglasses, and warm layers because you WILL need them at sea, even on a hot July day on land. i started with biking shorts, a breathable tank top, and sandals and ended up in my wool sweater, rain jacket as a wind breaker, thick thermal winter leggings, and socks. we would love to come back in the future for a whale tour. congrats to the captain on his retirement this week and thank you again for today!

We started out on a whale watch tour. The crew was great, pointing out and explaining interesting facts and locations. Unfortunately, as we approached open waters, the wind was higher than expected, and for safety, we had to turn back. A full refund was given with no questions asked. So basically, we got a free tour on a boat, and it was wonderful. Next time back, we will definitely use Sea Watch Tours again.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favour. Left at 750am in dense fog and calm waters. Heard some blows but didn't see any whales. Did spot a couple of seals and some seagulls. A few people were fortunate enough to briefly spot some whale fins. Back on land by 1130am. Staff were wonderful and the hot chocolate delicious. The boat trip was enjoyably but certainly wasn't worth the $190 we paid.
