I looked on line to see the operating hours of this branch. The were open, and would be until 5:00 pm. So, I strolled over there to take care of some in branch business (cash deposit) and found a sign saying it was temporarily closed but that they would be happy to help me at the branch across town.

I understand that things happen and temporary closures are necessary. However, I'd appreciate having that information updated on the website and not just via a sign on the door--although to be fair, there were two signs; one on each door..

It would also be useful to know approximately how long the bank will be temporarily closed. Should I be looking at going across town? Is there a reasonable chance it will be open tomorrow, next week or will I soon receive a flyer in the mail inviting me to check out Medicine Hat's next wine vault at this address.

I certainly hope it is a temporary closure as the service is generally pretty good and the location convenient. And, to be honest, I'm not really much a wine drinker so....

Worst bank I’ve been to in the city. Always closed even when it says they are open online. Phone in if your are planning on visiting the 3rd street branch and save your time and gas

Horrible bank. Can't even call the branch. You'll literally have to physically go down to the location to get anything done. Might as well bank online with someone else.

The manager there was very ignorant and rude. I highly suggest avoiding this bank and find one with people who actually have the common sense to treat people with respect.
