Hôtel de haut standing, nous y avons échoué après être tombé en panne sur l'autoroute à quelques kilomètres de là. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres, modernes et très bien insonorisées. Des machines à laver et une piscine est à disposition. Nous y avons passé une excellente nuit. Le prix s'élevait à 230CA

First time trying out the sandman hotel and I’m sadly disappointed. We were previously staying at coast hotel by APA, we then stayed here at sandman for the last few days of our trip because it’s closer to the airport. Pool was absolutely disgusting. No signs that the pool is closed but the jets of the pool were running, staff said it was open for use. Mold and black residue all around the insides of the pool walls… the pool water was murky, my husband decided to try the pool anyways and the floor of the pool felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in a reeeealllyy long time. So disappointing and disgusting. The staff also seem to stare a lot and it makes me uncomfortable, both men and women… especially at the desk. The rooms were eh. Carpet is an interesting choice for a hotel room, I can only imagine how dirty it is as I can see the baseboards are so extremely dirty. The washroom was okay… at first glance. When you start looking closely, you’ll see the broken mirror edges, dirty floors an d supposedly “clean” towels for use (dark dust all over the towels), it was underwhelming. Our duvet blankets were also covered in stains and felt icky and unclean. It was just overall the most unpleasant experience we’ve had so far with a hotel. Sad to say this was our first and definitely last time we’ll be going to a sandman. I guess you get what you paid for. Motel quality to say the least.

Far from what I expected:
- cleaning: found a socket in the room from the previous customer and a bottle with liquid i side in the balcony.
- service: for a room of 4 people, i would expect 4 towels, not 2. I also asked for housekeeping 1 day and they didn’t do it. They only clean the room upon request: what’s the point of going into a hotel if room is not cleaned daily?
- location: convenient with a shopping centre close to the hotel. However, it is noisy as it really close to the highway.
- hotel: staff is friendly except housekeeping sometimes who where not saying hello or any smile (we are human). The pool is very small and contains a lot of chemicals which hurts the eyes and nose if you stay to much in it.
P.S: someone requested me to rate the hotel with 5 stars in google review, and dictated me the words I must write in the review (and for sure mentioning her name). A review is personal and can’t be dictated by someone especially who is working in that place. I get the intention but it’s not the right way. If you want good reviews, give a good service, that’s it.
