Hot September day, 28 outside, thirsty and hungry, I stoped in to Branch 48 for a relief. What a reception! I introduced myself, from Ottawa Branch 462, and the barmaid introduced me to all present. Then, she offered me some sandwiches, which I gratefully accepted, having not had lunch then at around 2pm. After I quenched my thirst, I wanted to pay but the barmaid said that it was on the house, being that it was my first visit at the Branch. She then handed me a Branch 48 ribbon and a nice ballpoint pen. I was amazed at the welcome, the friendlyness and the short polite exchange with the patrons. Thank you Branch 48, I'm sure to be back.

Very nice Legion. Clean and bar staff is continually cleaning and disinfecting bar and all seats and areas as people leave.

The layout is odd. There shouldn't be a ripped flag flying from their mast. Otherwise it's a nice place.
