I want to thank Dr Simon Adam's, and the 4th floor team for taking such good care of my mom. She means the world to my family and I, we will forever be grateful. He came to check on my mom twice a day, both pre and post op. Her surgery gave her almost immediate relief from the emergency she was in. The nurses were attentive and compassionate. I will never forget you all for what you did for my mother.

Was working in town and unfortunately needed to go to this hospital at 2am.

Arrived, ticket machines wouldnt work for parking (This set off some major anxiety because of potential parking tickets or getting towed.) so i went in and tried to use their emergency check in machines, they didn't work. had to get a nurse to manually check me in.

15min later some initial testing is done by another nurse and i was told to sit down and wait to be pulled in.

Another 15min goes by and i eventually admitted into the emergency room as i was having difficulty breathing which was getting worse by the minute.

I then spent 5 hours struggling to breath while nurse after nurse walked by me before i had a nurse come and check my vitals which i explained my issue and that it was getting worse. Then she left and i watched every single person get released from that emergency wing and i was ignored for 1.5-2hours while i was struggling to breath and couldnt call for help.

The nurses could clearly hear me struggling to breath and i was getting light headed and a headache was coming on fast. Still ignored.

Around 8am or so they did a shift change and it hit me, they didn't want to help me because it was to close to their end time. What a joke.

Next shift nurse i believe her name was melissa, checked my vitals and then minutes later a doctor came in and heard me out and made a plan then 5min later the same nurse had an IV in my arm pumping me with drugs within 15min. 45min later after i got sufficient medication i was in for a CT scan. After the scan i was brought back and waited approx 20min before the doctor came in and told me my issue and prescribes me with some drugs and i was released.

I dont understand why our medical resources are being wasted with people who don't want to do their job. If the nightshift crew worked with half of the efficiency the day shift did there wouldnt be 8 hour wait times in our hospitals.

Melissa and the unnamed doctor (im sorry im bad with names but you were awesome as well ) was absolutely awesome, if she didn't come in at the nick of time there was a good chance i would of died on that bed as i wasnt able to get up and my airway was blocked so i couldnt even yell for help.

for everyone else especially the night crew, SHAME

I've had some not so great experiences in the ER here however I was admitted to the hospital and the doctors and nurses and porters went above and beyond to help me and to diagnose a very troubling and scary illness that other facilities didn't listen to. They took their time and cared. They wanted to find an answer for my illness and markers as badly as I did. I'm still here now and they are all phenomenal. I'm in the maternity wing and it's day and night from all other floors of the hospital ♡♡♡♡
Excellent Care
Thank you Dr. Chandra & Team for continuing to provide amazing care and wonderful bedside manner as you continue to help to diagnose me. I'm forever grateful to you

In my opinion the Ross hospital, while having a few dedicated doctors and staff, is still lacking in humanity and proper care. All you need to do is look at the reviews and listen to the people from that area and see for yourself. After doing so, are you happy with what you can see? It's very disappointing to recieve "the negative or lack of help from a number of staff, that people have told and left reviews about. That is my opinion.

The worst emergency department ever
Apparently to get better service you have to bring in your own bucket to vomit in them you get taken in immediately.
Was there this morning with my wife who had stomach pain nausea and vomiting blood pressure very high for her (as everyone's blood pressure runs differently) so we were at her doctor for an appointment the doctor phoned emergency and said we would be right over .
We got thee jumped through their hoops and waited ,at this time my wife is almost collapsing and throwing up in the sink right there where u register,so after seeing the triage nurse ( who obviously found the key to the med cart and helped herself) went and sat in waiting room at that time another person came in about 45 minutes after us and carried in their own bucket did the intake and was immediately taken in .
So you tell me my wife was just as bad as that person yet the other person was taken first again found the key for the med cart.
I would never ever set foot in that hospital even if I cut my arm off I would rather grab a torch and cauterize it myself probably would work out way better than emergency at Ross memorial

I just had a total knee replacement and I have to say I received the absolute best care I could imagine. The entire staff, doctors, greeters were amazing! They get ten stars out of five. They should all be proud of themselves

Worst hospital ever. They say the prioritize by severity of injury, well that’s a load if I ever heard one. Waiting room, someone collapsed and it took about 5mins for someone to come out. You see people sitting absolutely fine and they get seen first. My partner fell asleep in the waiting room from exhaustion and pain and NO ONE CAME TO GET HIM WHEN HE WAS CALLED!!
Not to mention we recently went for his hand. they took X-rays and said everything was fine and sent us home, completely disregarding the massive gash on his hand. A week goes by and it starts causing him pain and the goes numb. He then sat in the waiting room and a patient room for 8! Hours to get told he just need antibiotics and salt rinses. Lindsay hospital is where you go to die rather then get treated.
