I once liked buying from here. But over time I started noticing the dismissive and condescending attitude not only the owner displays, but much of his staff as well. Just today I called regarding the New Zealand beef they get. I simply asked what the company was called so that I was able to do my own research as to wether or not it's 100% grass fed. It's very important for my families health that we know these details. The woman on shift was very dismissive and seemed to have no interest in even trying to be nice or accommodating. When I asked her the question of what company it was she just said "no" followed by nothing.... Silence. Then my wife chimed in and explained why we wanted to know and she, in a condescending tone tells my wife "I can't tell you that honey". Her tone was awful. And when we started to express our displeasure regarding her attitude she hung up on us. My wife nearly drove over and gave her a piece of her mind. It's such a shame that this business (which is a good idea on the surface) may end up being sunk due to such miserable customer service.
And what we aren't interested in is a message back from the "web guy" apologizing for someone else's errors. It's a matter of being responsible for your OWN actions.
And another thing we don't want is Real to hop on and try to act sorry in letter. He needs to change things in house. In real time. Not try and sweep all these bad reviews under the rug.
Lastly, and unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Whoever reads this, take heed. You get what you pay for. This also encompasses customer service. Vote with your wallets and just say no.

EDIT# To his response below. It's another cop out. Disappointing but not surprising. I was crystal clear with the woman, and then my wife chimed in and further clarified. She wasn't interested and took a condecending tone. Believe them or believe us. Better yet, you'll believe your own experience there.
Good luck, this guy takes little to no accountability. He needs to stop blaming his mistakes on his customers. You'll notice that every complaint is met with a justification.

Such a sad day. Went to this store I goto for chicken as the prices are great. But today I went in and accidentally grabbed a bag of rebellyous kickin nuggets instead of regular chicken wings. I got home to cook a snack to try them, they are not good, the bag came without the box with ingredients so I was not able to tell the difference and also didn't notice the sticker on the door that they said was there when i purchased. So I called to ask for an exchange for a bag of real chicken wings. And they are not able to help me because everything is final sale. So I guess I will no longer shop there as they cannot help but argue about how he will be out, if you have accidentally chose the wrong package or item. So be careful what you buy while shopping here.

All I am doing is letting everyone know to be careful as the bags do not have the proper package to say what exactly the item is and that everyone should know this because when I brought it home to cook and realized there is a different taste to the meat I bought and I called immediately to ask for different package of meat as this one didn't taste right.(30 minutes after leaving store) You said well what about me? I was a customer and asked nicely. So it's ok, thank you for replying.

One of the Best Community Stores in the Neighbour. Just Google Real Rads Deals. It's a discount store , which may not be everyone's Cup of Tea , but let me tell you , with today's Food Inflation and Food Shrink Inflation, the community is more than Happy to shop here , where you don't have to pay 3 times what you'd be paying elsewhere.
Real Rads owner is very Caring and Passionate about the Foods he chooses to get to his Store and to his Community , Customers come from as far as Hope & Vancouver and it's worth it. 🙏

So many great deals here! Came in today and the lady at the register was so sweet! I've been in a handful of times before but this was my first time seeing her! Thanks you so much ! Definitely made my day better.

You can get good deals there, but the owner is rude with a superiority complex. I simply sent a private message (instead of posting publicly) regarding a purchase and immediately he started talking down to me when I was simply just stating some (quiet a few) of the items were moldy - he said that's why it was a deal....

I simply said it would have been nice to know prior to driving down from another city, and he just had more rude comments and degraded another business I mentioned that was also selling flat of produce in my town.

He said he advises us of the quality on his page - which he does not. The pictures he posts shows NO imperfections. I wasn't trying to start a fight, just simply advise him if he was not aware, which is why I sent a private message. But he just seemed to want to instigate something after receiving my message, so now I'm posting my review publicly. I feel if a business is posting these kinds of 'deals' (where SOME of the produce may be bad) it should state 'my have imperfections' or something so customers don't think they're getting a deal fresh fruit (when its not).

Ultimately, I'm only one person and this only one review. But I don't think business should treat their customers like that when they simply pointed something non maliciously and true out. Its rude, disrespectful and I choose not to support business like that - so although my dollars don't exactly keep your business a float - I sure won't be back to support it.
