I have to put this out there. I went to see them in November last year to have my taxes done. I was called and told that they had completed my taxes and I could come by and sign. My wife and I went in signed the paperwork and paid $472.50 for the completed returns. I waited for four months and I had not heard a thing from CRA. So contacted Pier CPA Group and asked if they may have heard from CRA on my behalf. They called me the next day to tell me that they never filed my taxes, but would do it right away. I ended up owing a fairly large amount. Because they did not send them in and I was forced to pay four months interest. Plus their fee. Then I received a email reminding me that I have a invoice that needs to be paid. The same invoice that I paid when I went in to sign the paperwork four months ago. This was the first time I ever went to a “professional” accountant.
