We were struck with an untimely quick passing of our Mother in Edmonton in June. We were not from Edmonton so we had a lot to deal with. We had some extra sickness in our family at the time and we needed to get Mom prepared for her funeral that was being held in Saskatoon. It was just before the long weekend and it was so comforting to have someone ACTUALLY answer their business phone and be able to answer all our questions on the spot. A lot of places had to call me back with info and there was always a ‘sales pitch’ connected to the call back.
Everyone at Park Place Funeral Home was so kind and considerate. They helped us get Mom’s remains cremated for the commute to SK on time, even though it was the long weekend. They gave us extra information for the steps after a loved one passes. They supplied us with a generous amount of death certificates and when we were given the price there was no extra added costs. They were even kind enough to transfer my Mom’s ashes into our own piece of pottery that we brought from home. This was not part of the plan, nor did we expect it but they were very thoughtful and very kind.
Of course, as someone who you love passes, your emotions are high and it was very comforting that everyone at Park Place had sympathy but also knew things needed to be taken care of.

We were helped by the team of Park Place Funeral Home in the funeral serves of my cousin. They were compassionate since the time I first called them. They showed up on time at the residence, guided us and handled the rituals with utmost care. They were like members of the family with genuine concern. They did not ask for fees by themselves. After the funeral when I went to them it is at that time they gave me the bill which was very reasonable considering the fact they had organised everything to the last detail - casket , Priest , flowers , etc . Most importantly they demonstrated a service mindset. I am so happy , I would definitely recommend Park Place Funeral Home.I was overwhelmed by their service

Satvir and the team at Park Place Funeral Home were so helpful and patient as we planned the funeral for my mom recently. Park Place Funeral all i can say is the best overall as they will give you a great service from the start to finished. They accomodate us immediately and do everything for us. They are very helpful and kind and show love and care and respect to their clients, Satvir and the whole staff are excellence in customer service and make sure that they are true to their word. Also Park Place has been recommended mostly of my friends who experienced losing loved ones and conducted their service to Park Place.

I just want to express how thankful we are to Park Place Funeral Home from India. On my brother’s passing, who was living in Edmonton, Alberta, at the time of his passing, we had no other family member in Canada who could help us at the time of his death to make funeral arrangements. Someone from our community gave us this funeral home Satvir contact number to make arrangements. She talked to me very respectfully, politely, and professionally to make all arrangements. I explained to her over the phone what we wanted; she did exactly all the arrangements according to our culture, and she also gave an online link to watch the service, which made us feel very great, and we were present at the service. We don’t have more words to say thank you; we are very appreciative of Satvir Brar and her team for doing this for the community.

For some cultures, there are many rituals that need to be completed at the time of/ just before cremation. There are not many funeral homes that allow to perform these culturally and spiritually important rituals. Park Place Funeral Home provided us the necessary space and time to carry out our rituals in peace. Thank you.
