This is our 3rd year staying here. It is tucked up away from the road, Room is very spacious, Elaine & Glen are amazing people. Always available. I have no complaints.

You can certainly see that the caretakers are lovingly maintaining this place. They were very kind to us and allowed us to park for a short time while we hiked the gorgeous nature trail across the street. This is a five-star location!! And thank you again. Very very kind caretakers.

Lovely welcome. Excellent host. Simple clean and great outdoor setting. Close to restaurant and Little Current.

Elaine was very pleasant when I booked over the phone. She took my credit card number but said she would not actually charge me until I arrived. No cancellation fee, just her request that if I needed to cancel, to advise her as early as possible. She seemed very reasonable.|Only 9 rooms. Signage on the highway rather run down. The room was basic, an odd layout with the small TV way at the other end of the room away from the bed. The bed was good and I slept well with just a ceiling fan. No air conditioning, so this was a bit uncomfortable on the very hot nights I was there. Only bar soap provided, no shampoo, etc. |Nice location only 6 km or 6 min from Little Current. Quiet, hidden from the highway.|I stayed 4 nights. My bed was not made and only one indication that the room was even entered by the owner as a curtain was drawn back once. Towels were not changed during my stay. In fact, I never saw Elaine again.|Don't expect luxury, just the basics.

For the price I can't complain about the lack of AC or older furniture,and we were in a pinch for a room. But the carpet was very dirty/stained. We didn't understand the framed note in the room to keep bed and furniture away from the walls. However we now believe it is to mitigate bed beds, based on internet research. I did find one reddish bug on my sheet in the morning. So hoping we didn't bring any home. Taking all precautions unpacking.

Terrible, shame on the owners for processing a full payment of $130 when I showed up without reservation and couldn't stay in the room more than 10 minutes because of the stench. They must of had a sewage backup because it smelled like manure. I even drove to town to buy a plug in air freshener but after 10 minutes I felt sick. in the 10 minutes I was there what I noticed was that the beds were old with old linens and blankets, furniture was VERY old (not in a nice antique way), the bathroom was mildew from floor to ceiling, no air conditioning, only one small window at back could be opened for fresh air, no coffee/tea. Owner (Elaine) just acted offended when I tried to speak to her about it and went ahead and processed my payment. I feel like this is a scam that they've rehearsed and used on many people....BEWARE!!!

Tried to stay at this Motel but the room had a very bad smell. I'm not a fuss pot and could have lived with the other issues and even drove to town and bought a plug in air freshener but....it was so bad i felt sick. I would guess at some point there was a sewage backup because only something like that would cause such a stench. Elaine the owner acted surprised and offended and even though i didn't actually stay more than 1/2 hour, she processed my entire $130 +tax. Shame on her!
