the bar is "OK", but the motel above is... deeply flawed. It is falling apart and shows it. All historic features have been destroyed through amateurish renovations. Many windows are broken and the 100 year old electrical and heating systems barely work. If you can afford it, spend $12 extra to stay elsewhere.

Went for a karaoke night with a group. If karaoke is your thing, you don't have to wait long to sing. The DJ also does a decent job of keeping things going. Not the nicest place in the world, but also not the worst. Probably closer to a Legion or VFC than something you'd see in a travel magazine. Drinks are relatively cheap. Asked for a cider and the only thing they had was Growers Strawberry Rhubarb, which was a little odd, but whatevs. If you're looking for something different, this place fits the bill.

We are New to Taber ..... and if your looking for a place to call your watering hole this place is it ..... the owner was great .... remembered our drinks a week later when we came back! To me it was like a cheers .... "where everybody knows your name"
