I had day surgery in Olds yesterday. Every staff member I came across was kind and always offering assistance. I was kept informed of any delays in my surgery time. Overall a great experience thank you to the unit clerks, nurses, doctor and anesthesiologist I encountered!

My Wife and I went to Olds Jan 28, 2025 to deliver our first baby Girl.

Dr. Ingles and our labour and delivery care team were so fantastic to both me and my wife, we had an excellent first birth experience! Our nurses that were had been discharged from our care team were coming to check on us in our recovery room as well. All of our recovery room nurses were fantastic as well! Big thanks to the entire team at Olds Hospital and Care Facility! - The S Club

Had my second surgery out of Olds Hospital last week. I cannot thank every staff member enough. Their level of care is top notch. They also put up with my lame joking around. (Nerves). Highly recommended. Attentive, caring, professional, the list goes on! Thank you!

Went in earlier today for a possible blood clot I’m almost 32 weeks pregnant first doctor I had was awesome . Went back for my ultrasound results as my blood work came out higher than normal . Dr. Micheal Blackshaw saw me and said I didn’t have a blood clot but he also didn’t seem to bother doing any more tests or even talk me through possible answers or pain management . He honestly seemed like he wanted me out as fast as possible and I wasn’t his issue . I seriously felt disregarded and wished he would have cared to even talk to me about next steps . Super pissed as I usually have great doctors but tonight wasn’t it .

This hospital is filled with rude nurses. Espically Meghan and Cassidy. My Father has clothes missing, razor missing and new outfit. His blanket went missing for 3 weeks and also brand new and was found 3 weeks later. It's clear these items are missing and NO ONE KNOWS what's going on there. It's a pathetic hospital and excited for the day he is moved to a better facility.

DR. Engels is very rude and unsympathetic to say the least! My father had major surgery and was told 3 months recovery time by red deer OR. Second day being in olds and they had him trying to climb stairs……. He can barely even get him self outta bed never mind anything else! DR.Engels just wants to send ya home as soon as possible whether you are ready or not.

I was in for day surgery today. The whole staff was fabulous from admitting to leaving. It was the best treatment I've received. I truly appreciate the care and time they put into me today.

Because of the terrible backlog of surgical procedures in Red Deer, my spouse was booked for his day surgery in Olds Hospital.
The staff were all professional and kind.
The admitting clerk was very pleasant and welcoming, and all of the nursing staff were amazing. The entire surgical team was very efficient and Dr Sloane who was the anesthesiologist listened to our concerns and took excellent care of my spouse during his procedure. We were treated with respect and kindness through the entire process.
