The store is beautiful. Before you even enter the space, you can tell that the ladies who work here put a lot of work into making the store look not only inviting, but warm and sparkling. Walking into the store felt like I was walking into a Geode, everything sparkles and there is colours all around, and so much variety and the ambience was somehow not overwhelming, but very peaceful and although the actual store is on the smaller side, I didn’t feel rushed. I could’ve spent hours in there. There is so much to look at, I was not expecting the metaphysical side of the store, they have hard to find items such as kananga, Florida and Rose waters, incenses, they have hard to find natural self care ingredients, they have a small area set up where bulk dropper bottles and homemade cosmetic containers can be put together and bought, bulk health food ingredients, soaps, supplements, even some animal health products, many beautiful Gemstone pieces that I was in awe of, the lady who picks them out truly has an eye for beautiful stone pieces that shine amongst the rest. I don’t know if this store is “wasted” on Selkirk, but I can see this store succeeding even better in the city. I think anywhere you put this store it would stand out. To an outsider or a passerby new to Selkirk this would definitely be a highlight.
The ladies were very nice, and kept the store pristine. It was beautifully decorated and inviting. One thing I would like to see more of is bulk herb bins. I suppose in these days it may Not be possible, but maybe when the pandemic is over, it could be?

The inside of the store is very appealing to the eye and well laid out, the staff is very friendly and tried their best find the products I was searching for, however the prices are simply outrageous. A quick Amazon search for almost anything in that store and you will see price markups as high as $30.
