My co worker and I spent 2 days here. I felt like I walked into a Christmas card , with the warm cozy atmosphere, the fire crackling in the background and the smell of banana bead in the air. I was so glad to have such a warm welcome, comfy cozy clean rooms and a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. I can't wait to show my hubby, friends and family this place its truly a perfect place with kind hospitality 5 star food and a setting you only see in movies.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My colleague and I had the pleasure of staying at North Country Bed & Breakfast recently, and it was an unforgettable experience. Norma, the owner, truly made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. It was like being welcomed into my own mother's home.

Norma's warmth and hospitality were evident in every aspect of our visit. She treated us to delicious homemade baking and cooking that made us feel right at home. Our room was always impeccably clean, and she was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging us in fascinating conversations.

Not only did Norma go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, but she also helped us with our laundry, which was a lifesaver during our trip. Her dedication to her guests is truly commendable.

What sets North Country apart is the genuine care and attention Norma extends to her guests. It felt like a home away from home, and she treated us as if we were her own children. Her insights into running a business were invaluable, and her stories about bears and how to stay safe in their presence added an exciting educational element to our stay.

We can't wait to return to North Country Bed & Breakfast. Norma's hospitality, warmth, and wisdom made our stay truly exceptional. If you're looking for a unique and welcoming place to stay, this is it.

Thank you, Norma, for an unforgettable experience. We'll be back soon!

Heavenly is the only way I can describe how amazing it was to have the place to ourselves for Christmas. We invited everyone over after church on Christmas eve. And had a beautiful Christmas dinner with the family. Aunty Sharon stayed for a few days in the upstairs room. Dogs had the run of the acreage.

I’ve stayed at the North Country Bed and Breakfast numerous times and it’s never disappointed. The hosts are second to none with kindness and amazing hospitality. The food is outstanding! The rooms are spacious, super clean and comfortable. Peaceful surroundings, very quiet. Close to the amenities of the town of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. It’s a definite must if you are travelling, just need a get away or on a snowmobile excursion.

I cannot rave about this place enough! It is cozy, warm, with wildlife right out their dining room window (you get to enjoy watching while eating!). The food is absolutely superb, the beds are the softest I've slept in, and their living room with a real fireplace is the highlight. Not to mention the easy access to the cross-country ski trail that goes right past their place.||||Norma is the most gracious host and very accommodating and flexible. She makes sure you eat no matter what time it is.||||Not only will I be recommending this to everyone, I will be raving about it!

I travel quite a bit to small towns and finding a decent motel is not always easy. It was suggested that I try a Bed and Breakfast. Having never tried it, I was a bit unsure of what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised.|| I had my own room with a very comfy bed, a flat screen TV with remote, a closet to hang stuff if needed, desk space to use my laptop, a forest view out my window with lots of animals to see and a Host and Hostess that were super friendly and made me feel right at home.|| The facilities here are immaculate and would be better described as a lodge. Each of the sleeping rooms is nicely equipped and have locks on the doors, with keys, for privacy. The main bathroom for use of the guest rooms is large and while it's shared, there are two other bathrooms available on the main floor, so there's no waiting. There is a boot room off the garage that is ideal for snowmobilers and hunters to get out of their gear and to hang it for drying. I was told that they also set up boot driers during snowmobile high season.|| The breakfasts are awesome, including home-made bread, and an exceptionally tasty fruit cocktail and if you opt for the optional (extra charge but VERY reasonable) evening meal you will be treated to the best food in town!|| I arrived at night, so the signs were not easy to spot. The location is also currently shown incorrectly on Google Maps as being north of the river. The location is actually about two km south and then roughly 1.5 km east of the highway. The road to turn off the highway is Ridge Road and it is fairly well marked, from both North and Southbound. Ridge Road is a gravel road with gravel pits and several large storage buildings on the North East corner where you turn off the highway. There is a large cargo trailer parked at the corner with the North Country signs attached, however at night it is not lit and a bit hard to spot. Follow Ridge Road for about 1.5 km and the corner to turn left has another North Country sign. It is the first well marked and obvious left to turn at on Ridge Road. There are several approaches on the left side during the 1.5 km to the actual marked corner but they do not have markings, so watch for the sign. Head to the end of this short road and the lodge is on the right. The entrance to the yard is well lit by a line of lights. There is plenty of parking and room for trucks with snowmobile or quad trailers.|| If I ever have to return to Hudson Bay, there is no question that I will be delighted to stay here again.
