Not going to lie, when we moved from the City 2 years ago I was horrified at my options for internet based on the reviews. The family needed a strong reliable connection for working, school and streaming and I am pleased to say that the service has far exceeded our expectations. I cannot comment on their customer service as I have not had to use them but the internet itself has been amazing.

Horrible internet service. Signal keeps dropping off, says i have no internet connection. This despite all the hype around their Fibre optic upgrade which was supposed to make internet speed faster and more reliable. Streaming shows and will randomly start buffering during show.
Will happen in the morning, afternoon and in the evening.
Call their tech services and they try to help but service never gets any better. They will reach out with a response to contact them but it's just a waste of time. I've called them before and it doesn't improve the signal.
Cable is expensive for what you get also.

Garbage, been promising fiber optics since we moved here 10 years ago. Everytime I call to express my concern, they say they will ad my concern to invisibile list. Step it up, spend the momey, and run fiber optics to the outskirts of Millbrook.. No choice other then Starlink

Customer service is absolute, garbage, unprofessional, rude, ignorant, staff and management very disappointing for a small town. You would think with the 2.4 Google review and all of the hundreds of horrible reviews that Dexcom would turn around and start offering better customer service.

Customer service is lacking as is any transparency on how Nexicom is planning and implementing improved services. Sent a note to complain - over a week and zero response.

Horrible. Service is unreliable, connection constantly drops. Equipment can only handle moderate use. Speeds are a fraction of what they claim. Hardwired, one tech got half of the speed I was supposed to. Replaced the equipment and the internet was fantastic, for two weeks. Technical support and supervisors have done nothing to help, only blamed me for the issues. Never switched providers so fast.

Have had countless issues with this internet provider including; problems with the SmartHub app not charging my credit card automatically when it was set up to autopay and incurring late fees that the employees “couldn’t” reverse even though the issues were happening on their end.

Another issue I had was that they renewed my student contract for a second year without actually telling me it was a renewal of a contract, I thought I was paying month to month after the contract ran up until I called to cancel it and I still had a month left on the contract, which I admitted as my mistake with not reading the fine print and paid for as I was going to let the contract run its course and then cancel as it was almost over. I called and talked to someone who was very nice and seemed like he felt bad that he had no control over the constant mistakes that Nexicom was making, their backwards practices, sneaky contracts and “fees”. He said everything was good and it will be cancelled the following month and I believed that everything was fine and would go smoothly since I had done my part. That was also my mistake believing they are competent enough to have a functioning system to work from and write a simple note on a file. I had already had enough of them and switched to Rogers 5G home internet for the constant bad service and unwillingness to fix their mistakes in the past. Instead of actually cancelling my service as they said they would, they charged me for another month through the app with no explanation and now I have to wait a few days to call them because it’s impossible to get a hold of them because their hours are terrible and they have no after hours or weekend service. I have already went with another service provider so because of their lack of ability to communicate and terrible service I will now be paying for two internet providers for the month. Silly me for thinking confirming cancellation of service for this month with an agent on the phone would actually work as it would with any other semi-functional company. Now I just have to hope they haven’t renewed the contract without telling me and that they actually own up to their mistakes and cancel my service without any trouble or extra fees but that’s doubtful considering their past behaviour.

Their bad hours are especially annoying when their Internet goes out in the middle of the night (which it has before) and there is no way to contact anyone to fix the problem. I’m glad to finally be done with them but it seems like they’re trying to string me along for as long as possible before letting me leave.

If you want an internet company that provides sub par service and takes as much money as possible from you with hidden “fees” and sneaky contracts then go with Nexicom.

I called today to inquire about setting up the new fibre internet in my area. We waited quite some time to have the fibre cables put in so we were excited to finally give this a try. Currently we use Starlink, so we wanted to test the two for a month and see which one is better. The guy who answered the phone said since we are in the "core" area we HAVE to pay an installation fee, and HAVE to pay for a landline in order to have it set up. What a way to treat your core customers! Make them pay an additional $100 for installation and $38 a month for a landline that will never be used. Shameless.
