Service was good, even though my flight arrived late they had the rental all ready to go at the Enterprise kiosk. The winter tires had lots of tread on them and the vehicle did not slip at all even though weather conditions were wet and slushy/icy.

The issue I have with rentals and this is in general and may be a policy the rentals companies have, is that the bluetooth never seems to work for synching phone and music. When I travel I'd rather not waste time trying to find a decent local radio station in the rental car, and of course they don't have satellite radio enabled, so it would be nice to be able to play the music off my phone. The rental I got was a 2017 Dodge Caravan GT which is pretty close in model to my personal vehicle (2015 Dodge Journey R/T) so it is annoying to see some of those conveniences missing.

Really bad experience! I booked a full sized car through Hot Wire; when I arrived at the airport after midnight October 28, 2018 in the pouring rain, I went to the desk and gave them my information; the employee gave me the keys, saying you have a Hyundai Elantra; I walked out to the very end of the parking lot and started looking for the car; I finally pressed the alarm and saw the flashing lights about 200 feet away, but when I got to the vehicle, it turned out to be a Hyundai Accent, not the full size car I had reserved and paid for!! Frustrated and tired I drove around to the departure area to get the problem corrected, but by this time, there was no one at the desk. I drove the car home and contacted National the next day. The manager Jessie Rasume said that nothing could be done on their end seeing as I booked through a third party. An offer was made to discount a next rental, and she suggested that I phone Hot Wire to straighten it out. Then to add insult to injury, I discovered the next da y National charged my AMEX an additional $44.55, claiming that Hot Wire did not charge the taxes. I contacted Hot Wire again, and the agent stated no extra fees should have been charged to my AMEX card, and that I should discuss the extra charges with National. I contacted Jessie Rasume again, explaining what Hot Wire told me; Jessie requested a copy of the booking confirmation which shows a prepaid amount of $105. 04 for the 2 days; advertised daily rental was $35.51; yet total charges for the 2 days amounted to $167!! So far, no response back from National!

The staff were very personable and quick in dealing with my rental needs and getting me on my way. The vehicle was clean and in good condition with lots of space and built-in navigation so that my personal GPS was not required.

I joined the emerald club as I rent cars frequently. I booked a car and wandered into parking structure. A woman asked if I had booked anything specific, I said no, and the gave me a BMW X 3. The car was immaculate. Quick getaway, after I figured out some of the tech on the car. Easy return as well.

Staff was very friendly. The only drawback was that the car was not very clean. We paid top price to rent through National and was disappointed that we had to clean the interior of the car. We did not let the staff know on pick up as we were late arriving and needed to be on our way.

Good stuff. They met us at the FBO as requested.
Bad stuff.
- car was dirty
- something was all over the inside of the window
- and my bill was massively wrong. They charged me for a Garmin when I didn't order it. They charged me more for the gas option than was quoted by 20%. They charged me more per day than I was quoted. WHAT A MESS!
- I called in to the location to get that billing fixed the night of my return. I was promised it would be fixed the next morning - NOPE. I was promised I would get a new email of the bill from the location - NOPE.

It was easily fixed billing items, that yes shouldn't have been there, and they couldn't even do that as they told me they would. I took their lead and they said by the next morning - that was more than ok by me - and a full day after it was to be done. Still not done. No callback. No new email receipt. No contact. Nothing.
Guess I have to pick up the phone and call them again and ask them to complete the promises made to me.

Darn it National in Fredericton. Darn it.
