Extremely rude front desk staff - after 9 years at the clinic I have yet to encounter a friendly voice, face, smile or anything resembling pleasant conversation with any of the staff there. The staff tend to be very curt and speak harshly to patients registering, making appointments etc.

I also have been placed in a treatment room to further wait only to find the room is filled with other patients files. I find this extremely unprofessional and would be surprised if this was an accepted practice at other clinics.

Doctors are caring and helpful but wait times can be excessive due to booking multiple patients in similar time slots. I have witnessed the front staff booking 2 and 3 appointments in a single 15 minute time block k.

Dr. Essaji was my doctor from 12-30 yrs of age and diagnosed me with PTSD due to childhood trauma. He continued to write pill prescriptions for me but when I asked about medical Cannabis was told that it doesn’t exist for anyone. After having a disagreement over medical Cannabis, I tried to get a form filled out for extra funding for Post-Secondary saying I have PTSD. He refused to sign my form, refused to see me and the secretary would not let me inside the office. She shut the door in my face and locked it after she told me Dr. Essaji is no longer your doctor. Thanks Mt. Pearl Medical Clinic, the worst service I have ever experienced in my life in the health care system. I am without extra funding for school to help me complete my program which could have helped myself and my family.

The receptionists are extremely rude, you're lucky to get a call back, you're lucky if they even answer the phone. A little bit of compassion would be much appreciated but there's none here.

Very rude front desk staff and appointments being booked hours before doctor arrives. Sometimes you won’t even get a call back. Also, there is always something wrong with their fax machine.
