Very old and run down. Most of the plug ins didn't work. One quick shower and hot water was depleted. Smelled terrible had to use air freshners. Pretty certain there was mold in the bathroom as the wall was clearly painted on the top around the shower. Had to sweep and mop the floor when we got there because it was dirty. Kicked the breaker when the a/c was on and tried blow drying my hair. Honestly they shouldn't be charging more than 50$ a night.
Our friends rooms were no better.

Beyond thankful to the night manager (?) who proactively reached out to me after I booked a VERY last minute room on a third party site for my sister and brother-in- law who had to evacuate Jasper due to wildfires. He let me know no-one would be there at 5am (small place, makes sense - but no other rooms available for miles) and arranged for the key to be accessible to them. Thank you for being an awesome human.

Nice people that now own the Monte Carlo.. but we had booked our stay months in advance and asked before booking if the pool would be open. They said yes of course by that time we will have it in operation. One day before arrival the motel calls to say it’s not working.. they then said that it was getting fixed the day before we arrived but it needs more parts and can’t work. So to me they took too long to get it fixed before we showed up. It’s a heated pool it should be working all year round. Why would you want to sit in bath water in the middle of June on a hot day.. on top of that found garbage food in the drawer of our unit.. hopefully the new owner don’t attract ants and rodents to the motel..

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service my friends received during their. recent visit to your motel. On Aug 10, my friends arrived at the motel at night and needed to use the restroom. Unfortunately, they discovered that the toilet was clogged.
I contacted guest services to report the issue, only to be met with the response: "I don’t know why the housekeeper didn’t check the toilet." This response was not only unhelpful but also quite frustrating, as it implied a lack of attention to detail and care for guest comfort.

I booked this room with Expedia. When we arrived, we were told that Expedia had cancelled our reservation, but the motel had made a reservation with another motel just down the street "in case we didn't know the reservation had been cancelled." This made no sense to me! Upon further investigation with Expedia, I learned that the Monte Carlo told Expedia my credit card was declined. Not true! I'm convinced the Monte Carlo gave away my reservation for some reason and then lied to me. Perhaps to accommodate a larger party, or perhaps to accommodate a stay longer than one night. Regardless, it was sneaky and deceitful and left me looking for a room at 8 pm after a full day of driving. (No, I didn't accept the room at the other motel that they had booked for me.)

Outdoor pool for the kids, fast food and gas stations close... can't ask for much more from a highway town motel. Clean room.

Unit was clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Amenities included coffee maker and condiments. Thoughtful that my brother & sister-in-law were placed in a room next to us. Really appreciated the air conditioner, since we had 34-35 degree temperatures. There was a family reunion staying at the motel, enjoyed children laughing. Pool was also appreciated due to the temperatures. Owner/manager was helpful and informative. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Room was not clean, garbage can not emptied from precious guest, pizza left in fridge and then no hot water...owner was kind but only said sorry no reimbursement on the over priced motel that is outdated and needs upgrading with painting, flooring and over all everything.
