Struggling with a lack of availability with this practice. A 2 week wait for an appointment defeats the point of having a family doctor. I don’t know if this is a factor of too many clients accepted or too little hours as they are quite reduced. The phone system is quite frustrating as well, often difficult to get through and then it eventually just disconnects you as there is no message leaving option. I liked the doctors, location and facility but it’s not worthwhile if I can’t be seen.

Dr. Van Tonder is the best doctor I've ever had in my life. She is an excellent diagnostician. She saved my special brother's life, saved my son's life and has shown herself to be astute throughout the decade she's been my doctor.

I have come to this clinic for 17–18 years. The support staff provide excellent customer care. They model excellent self-care by their taking lunch breaks and maintaining professional and kind energy when supporting patients. I love being a patient where the staff take care of themselves as it allows them to have their needs met and to in turn, meet my needs as a patient. Grateful to be here!

My doctor is amazing, he is very attentive and listens to all my concerns. He is very knowledgeable and helps work out a plan with me on everything I bring up. My only down fall with the clinic is it’s impossible to get through on the phone lines and booking/cancelling/ rescheduling appointment is almost impossible due to this. Also I do find the receptionists quite rude and cold. Not a great experience dealing with those two. However the doctors are amazing which is why I will continue to be a patient here.

The doctors at this clinic are amazing. Dr Wilson is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I have ever had, always hearing me and being patient with my concerns. Dr kubanski sees my children and he is also so great! We feel so lucky to be patients here!

I have been seeing my doctor at Mokala Medical clinic for the past 6-7 years, at least. I thoroughly enjoyed the office environment and the advantage of a smaller city's conveniences. My doctor has been pleasant and helpful over the years. Most recently I have tried to book an appointment to see the doctor and it seems to me that the hours have decreased since I've started doctoring at this clinic. I live in Okotoks and work in Calgary and thank goodness I have an understanding manager that offers me some flexibility or I would not be able to get an appointment at this clinic. They are only open until 3:30 from Monday to Thursday and until 2:30 on Fridays. No weekend hours and they take a lunch break on top of that. When you call on your lunch break to make an appointment you are asked to call back as they too are on a lunch break!! What kind of service is that!? My doctor has been away several long periods of time. I have seen 3 other doctors at this clinic due to the absences however I am not allowed to switch doctors. What is the point of having a family doctor and building that relationship? And people complain about Bankers Hours being so limiting - I wish I worked at this clinic as they seem to have "banker's hours' down pat! We are going to have to look for another clinic and doctor that offers a bit more flexibility for our family.

Dr. Oelschig is INCREDIBLE. My family and I come from Airdrie to Okotoks because of the care, attention, knowledge, professionalism and time we get when we are there. She has the perfect mix of realistic honesty with a compassionate heart that reassures us that we not only have an amazingly intelligent and knowledgable doctor but also one that treats the human first. The personal care and attention we get is so appreciated
