I called here the other day to start looking for some help. It’s hard enough to open up about issues. I was very disheartened when I spoke to the lady on the phone, Amanda. I told her I had legal things in place, in the even consent couldn’t be obtained. She laughed. I calmly proceeded to tell her why I was bringing this up and the distress I was currently experiencing. She was polite enough, but still giggled at the end of our conversation again.

I’m not sure if this was a nervous laugh she was doing, but it did not feel professional at all. This experience made me very reluctant to book a first intake meeting that I’m required to pay for… I think every place deserves a chance, and I want to scope out the best fit for my family, no matter what that means I have to endure. So far they are not off to a great start, so fingers crossed I can still receive some good, caring help for my family. This was a tough day for me, just wish they had a bit more compassion when I called.

The counselors here, have gone above and beyond for not only my wife, but my kid as well. The staff is amazing, insightful and most of all kind! The payment plans they can set up have also kept it easy on us financially. For those needing any kind of mental health help, trust me, you can't go wrong with this place!

Stay clear of this place. They don't really care about your pain, or problems. I emailed them asking for a quote. I explained to them that my family was in ruins, and that I desperately needed help. I was told how much it was.....$169 PER SESSION, which is way beyond what my family can afford right now due to the employment problems caused by covid.

I wrote them back, I will admit I was very disappointed and emotional. I told them that it was a sad world we lived in where people who need help, who actually ask for help, which is a hard thing to do, get doors slammed in their faces because they can't afford that help.

I expected them to write back and maybe want to talk about subsidized services, or perhaps they would be willing to check and see if my insurance covered their services......but no. My statement didn't even warrant a reply from them.

It's just my opinion, but I feel that any counselling service, that shows so little concern or compassion.....and throws you out the door because of money alone......really isn't very interested in helping.
