I have worked with many brokers over the years and Dean is the best. He is genuinely friendly and quick to respond and get back with excellent rates on car and home insurance. I could not believe the rate he got my daughter (a new driver). I have never seen a rate so far below other quotes - for the same policy! Insurance is not usually something I am thrilled about, but it pays to consult with someone who knows the industry so well.

We are so grateful to Dean Coulter at McDougall Insurance in Bancroft. When our former home insurance provider (Aviva) decided to not cover us for home renovations we were thrown into a panic. Dean quickly offered us insurance as well as reassurance that we were not alone and others have been treated by other companies . His calm manner and professionalism as well as dedication by working overtime really impressed us. We would highly recommend him and this company.

One ⭐️is too much for this organization! Called them for auto insurance, and the woman answering the phone wouldn't put me in touch with an agent because I only gave her my first name. I told her she doesn't need my last name for me to speak to an agent. When she finally put me through, the man I spoke with asked me if I used bad language with the receptionist instead of saying "hello how may I help you?" I explained that I did not and made him aware of my conversation with her. Then he asked me how he could help. I told him he should listen to the recording they make and call me back with an appalogy if he still wants to do business and that I record my calls too. Needless to say, his shame wouldn't allow him to call back. He lost thousands of dollars in business per year because of his big headed ego. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

No one likes to have to make an insurance claim, but when you do, it's nice to know you deal with a company that really has your back. Jackie walked us through starting our claim when a tree fell on our house, and when things went sideways dealing with an adjuster, she flew to our rescue and made things happen. Thanks to her I didn't tear all my hair out and I'm not all gray either! I am truly grateful to McDougall Insurance and Jackie in particular. She made us feel like we were more than just a customer....felt like family. It was refreshing!

What an amazing experience again and so blessed I went back to McDougall for car insurance
I was with them in 2022 and Dean Coulter was the most helpful person in every situation I faced, as I got a car again 2 years later the first company I called was these guys hoping Dean was still there, and is!
Again he went above and beyond and made my life easy and couldn’t be happier I got car insurance again! Thank you Dean and the team at McDougall!!
