Maxim planned a 2.5 week self drive trip for us in Newfoundland that included 2 nights in Labrador. Everything worked perfectly. In addition to planned activities they provide well curated information on suggested things to do and places to eat. They were also readily available during the trips to help us on lost luggage and some changes we wanted to make. If you want to use a travel agent for Newfoundland I can highly recommend Maxxim.

We just finished a 10 day self driving tour of NL, and 6 day tour of NS all arranged by Linda at Maxxim. We couldn’t be happier with her choice of routing, hotels, activities, restaurants , etc. This is a first class agency and Linda was just excellent! We didn’t know where to go and timing between locations, so could not have done this on our own without hours of research. She set things up for us flawlessly. And the cost was the same or less than if we booked ourselves. At each hotel, we always had the best room locations.. brava and thank you Linda and Maxxim!

Almost a year after the fact, I am finally writing to thank Linda at Maxxim for setting up a wonderful self-drive trip across Newfoundland for us. She picked lovely hotels, convinced us to go to one of our favourite spots (Woody Point and the Tablelands) that we might otherwise have skipped, and provided lots of suggestions for things to do along the way. We had a terrific trip: amazing history, beautiful wildflowers, deep green forest, wild seascapes, icebergs galore, moose & puffins & whales, many special meals, and so much fun!

We just returned from a 3 week trip to Newfoundland and Nova Scotia organized and booked by Maxxim. Everything went smoothly and we loved the accommodation Linda booked for us. Places we would not likely have found on our own. The pre-booked excursions were all interesting but there was still enough time for spontaneity and new things we found on our own. The restaurant recommendations were good and we enjoyed many fine meals. The recommendations for things to do were also very helpful. When we needed to make a change to our itinerary during the trip Linda was immediately available to help make the changes. If you are going to the Maritimes we would highly recommend using Maxxim.

Recently returned from a two week self-driving trip around Newfoundland. What an amazing trip. Christina and the team from Maxim were fantastic in sorting out all the details from the car rental to accommodations, to excursions, to suggested places to visits. All the rooms were excellent. It was a seamless trip from start to finish. We will be definitely using Maxxim Vacations again on our next visit to the Atlantic provinces.

I have just finished a 9-day tour of Newfoundland and want to thank Emer for organizing a trip that exceeded all expectations. Every day was a gem thanks to our wonderful guides and drivers...and a great group of fellow travellers. The province is made up of one breathtaking view after another, and the warm and friendly people we met along the way made the journey all the better. It is a vacation I will never forget...and a company I highly recommend!
