Terrifying Experience with Dishonest OWNER and Gary from sales.

I regret to say that my experience with this company has been absolutely appalling. The owner initially called to apologize for Garry breaking my chair and promised to fix it, acknowledging their responsibility. However, the nightmare truly began when I tried to follow up after four months of silence.

Despite my repeated calls and messages, I received no response until today, when I finally got a call back. The owner once again expressed regret for Garry’s mistake and assured me that the necessary parts would arrive in two weeks. When I mentioned that I would be leaving a Google review about their service, the owner unexpectedly turned hostile.

He falsely accused me of yelling at multiple staff members, despite only having spoken to him and one other person. When I laughed at the absurdity of his claims, he became visibly upset and decided to cancel my order, refusing to fix my chair. His behavior was vindictive and unprofessional, as he fabricated reasons to justify his refusal to assist me further.

I recorded our conversation, where he admitted they messed up but lost control the moment I mentioned my review. It’s shocking that a business would treat a customer this way, especially someone in a vulnerable position like a wheelchair user. They took $9,000 from me, ignored my calls for months, and then decided to retaliate when I sought to share my experience.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. They clearly take advantage of people in need and are willing to lie and deceive to avoid accountability. DO NOT USE. My husband made an appointment to try out the wheelchairs at their location and the person he made the appointment with completely forgot about his appointment, that person wasn't even at the location that day. No phone call nothing, since I showed up Gary decided to help me out instead, I ordered a chair and Gary broke the wheelchair in front of me while setting it up. Gary said it was under warranty and they would fix it. He dodged my husband's call for 4 months and now they refuse to fix the chair even though they acknowledged repeatedly that they broke it. AVOID AT ALL COST

Tam provided amazing customer service! I purchased a wheelchair and it was perfect fit for me. Very comfortable and maneuverable. I don't feel like I am stuck at home anymore. I highly recommend Maximum Mobility for anyone who is looking for mobility aids.

Lori was so friendly & helpful with setting me up for a bath lift for my mom, communicating with RAMP for billing & setting up time to be installed.
Brad came out to install in timely manner & I was so impressed with how friendly, caring, & the great customer service he provided!
My mom is very hard of hearing & he was so patient with the use of the App she used to be able to understand what he was saying. I couldn’t be happier with the service provided.

I brought my brother-in-law here last week to get a new head rest. He is visiting from Nova Scotia, and had an awful lean to the left. James was attentive to our concerns, and made some adjustments to the back on his wheelchair as well as giving him a new head rest.

My brother-in-law then decided that since James did such a great job with the head rest, he wanted to see if they could get him a new back. Since he leaves on Saturday, we were not sure if this could happen. We went in yesterday at 3, and at one point there was 4 men working on his chair to make sure it would be ready for him. They allowed us to see all the changes made to the chair and explained every step on the off chance we would like to change it back. They widened and lengthened his chair to make it more comfortable for him and gave him a new back. They also spoke directly to my brother-in-law, asking him questions and waited patiently for his responses (even though he is non-verbal)

Although we were going outside of insurance, they made sure that it was lowest cost possible. Their vast collection of stock allowed us to get the part off the shelf and they had vast knowledge of his chair and the parts that would work for it.

My brother-in-law left comfortable and happy which is the most important part, but it was also more affordable than any other quote or place we were given (including their labour cost)

I highly recommend Maximum healthcare & mobility as the whole team is kind, patient, and knowledgeable.

They are great! But don't want until your chair is disintegrating. Order your parts early as there are supply constraints. They did a detailed check on my daughters wheelchair fixed what was needed and it's good for another 100000 kms lol
