Imagine allowing a company 20+ years of the use of your money (RRSP). Imagine now retiring and looking to have those funds made available. Imagine a company that takes two weeks to bother to react to a request to transfer funds. Imagine a company that sends a significant amount by the least secure and most time consuming way possible. No tracking. Just a stamp.

What a bunch of inconsiderate bean counters.

I strongly urge anyone considering Manulife as an investment manager to reconsider.

We have an active policy with a policy number it took more then an hour of back and forth calling till we got the right number to call. Everyone kept sending us back to the original number that we started out with.it was the most frustrating experience. It was unacceptable but had this been an e.emergency it would have been reprehensible

The 2 stars are for the staff that we talked to who were mostly extremely nice but the company should get it's act together.

As a whole the company is horrible. 7 months of back and forth for my mothers life insurance payout and being told multiple different things by advisor and everyday there was something else that changed and they didn’t have right. Get it together. Would never recommend to my worst enemy
