Very beautiful island. Small town feel with small town open hours but just a great place to visit and take in the nature and relax. Lake Huron is a beautiful lake with lots of cool geological features and fossils. Sunrise and Sunsets, Stargazing and night walks are just a few things that draw me here. If you get a chance to visit please do so.

Very nice informative center. Clean big washrooms. Cool Manitoulin sign. Also has hike to viewing area for the swing bridge.

I was recently in there asking a bunch of questions to these 2 young employees as I've never been exploring the island before and was trying to plan out our day. They were kind, patient, informative, answered each question and gave me a map with lots of different places to see. I felt good about my journey with my kiddo and definitely recommend stopping here if you need information.

Great place to make a first stop/stretch before exploring the rest of the island! Very friendly and helpful employees. Unfortunately they're out of maps for the season, so I took a photo of one I got earlier in the year that you all can use!

Big centre with plenty of information. The fellow working there was very knowledgable and friendly. We were three hikers so the only thing we would have asked for was a map showing all of the hiking trails.

The young lady ( who was 17, but unfortunately we didn't get her name) was amazing! So helpful and knowledgeable. She was a pleasure to chat with and we enjoyed our visit and information we received from her! Unbelievable service from this young lady!

Got a friendly welcome and a plethora of info on places to visit.

Don't miss this stop. Take the time to follow the trails from the parking lot. Watch the bridge swing and boats go by. ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️
