My brand new truck was towed to the service dept here due to a service brake assist error code. I was told it wasn’t safe to drive and to have it immediately towed to the closest GM dealer which happened to be this one. When I spoke with the service dept, they were happy to leave me stranded in town with no loaner vehicle for two days until I kicked up a fuss. Jason told me that “he would pull a brand new one off the lot as a loaner for me if I had purchased the vehicle with them but this wasn’t the case”. Bear in mind I paid for a fully comprehensive GM Canada extended warranty. They “cleared some codes” took it for a drive and said it was all good and the codes were due to a software update. Which I don’t buy, because the brake pedal felt completely different than it had prior to going in. The work was also not invoiced so there is no transparency or accountability in regard to what was done, or shall I say what was not done. I start the truck this morning, one day after getting it back, to be greeted with the same error code and click in the brake pedal. I can’t be without a vehicle this weekend so I sure hope my brakes don’t fail!!! If they do, I guess I’ll have to discuss that with GM in court because I refuse to give this ignorant service department another chance.

I’ll drive it to the dealer where I purchased it Monday morning. Hopefully I’ll get some transparency and an invoice out of them… Or maybe even get a loaner vehicle without having to refuse to leave the service department? I checked the oil dipstick this morning and it appeared to barely have any oil in it… Do you even do a basic check over of any description for vehicles that come in?

Christian Loots and the Buick team were incredibly helpful. They allowed us the time to decide what was the best fit for our family and helped us through every step of the purchase. I even touched the car surface, at Grayson and Christian’s insistence, after they rust proofed the car; it never occurred to me the finish would be so durable and smooth. Heard a lot of good feedback from my friends but they should definitely work on their online management esp online inquiries, descriptions and photos of cars. The online service seemed not existent as they never reply or get back to inqueries.

I called for a repair and was told 250 to 300 total . Ended up being 492. I wasn't pleased because I specifically told them when I called it was for my aunt who is on pension and has a budget, they took 50 off .
