I have never winter 'camped' before and this was an amazing way to dip my toes into that cold water.

The pod that we stayed in was excellent. And as someone who hates the cold, I can say that the pod was cozy, warm and comfortable. We had a nice campfire (also a winter first for me) and just enjoyed the quiet time together.

The food we had at the restaurant was fantastic!!! And the staff were absolutely lovely!
Be sure to try some of wines if you are so inclined. The Burning Kiln options are my personal favorites on their list. And ....the winery itself is basically across the road. So you can always run over and grab a bottle to take home.

The views overlooking the marsh are stunning! Be sure to take some time to take in the scenery.

Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for us to take the observatory tour, but....now we have an 'excuse' to go back and use those tickets at a later date. And I can't wait to visit again!

We just got home from a beautiful relaxing weekend here and it was fantastic. Even though it was snowing and icy it was lovely. The cabin was clean and cozy. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We went the next day to the Burning Kiln winery for some wine tasting and a bite to eat. It was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We paid to have the arctic spa experience and I must say I was hesitant but it was absolutely amazing. Drew was super nice easy going and friendly. The set up was beautiful. It was amazing. Thank you too everyone who gave me and my husband a much needed break because clearly we don’t get out that much lol.

I love coming to marshview, the servers are always so welcoming and friendly. The food is always a 10/10 plus the view is beautiful! They have an amazing patio that looks over the marsh. I would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this resort. We stayed in the cabin but the pods are cozy too! The food at the restaurant is so good and all of the staff at the rest and resort go above and beyond. Winter fire pit, easily navigated trails, gorgeous views - all make this a wonderful getaway spot. Can’t wait to kayak here this summer!

Went for a birthday getaway and had a wonderful time. Just stayed overnight and the cabin was quaint and the fire pit was wonderful.
We weren’t far from the main building which made things easy. The staff were helpful and accommodating. While we didn’t try any of the activities this time, saw the safe interacting and explaining the other activities available.
the trails are well maintained and signed with lots of little spots with great views and signs explaining the location.
Already thinking about another stay and trying some of the activities.

Beautiful spot for our wedding! If you're looking for a unique and memorable wedding venue, this is it! There is a beautiful pavilion available to rent for your reception with a speaker system, outdoor dance floor lit up with Edison bulbs, and campfire. There are wildflowers everywhere, which really added to the beauty of the day. They even provide you with a wedding coordinator to answer all of your questions leading up to the big day. This is the perfect spot for nature lovers and bird watchers. There is a winery across the street which was the perfect spot for a rehearsal dinner. The Marshview restaurant patio offers the best views in Southwestern Ontario. This made for a beautiful backdrop for our wedding photos. We really enjoyed the observatory tour and the kayak tour, though it was a little difficult to find the launch site, so make sure you have a clear understanding of where you are going before you head out. Our favourite was the zip line! The guides were fantastic, extremely organized and made us feel safe. The only suggestion I will make if you are planning to get married here is to get ready at another location or if you plan on getting ready in the accommodations keep in mind that they are small spaces, bring a fan or two (especially in the summer months) and some lighting (a ring light would have been perfect) as well as a full length mirror. I highly recommend this spot for an intimate wedding. It was over so fast, I wish I could do it all again!

The Good: Accommodations were as expected, they were cozy and we found them clean (enough) considering its a cabin. Staff were beyond helpful and we found them quite friendly! Zip lining was a great experience and would highly recommend it.

The Bad: Do NOT book anything "sipping" or "tasting" related. The "Brewery Experience" and the "Wine Tasting" was comically bad, to the point where I don't think I could label them as such. I felt robbed of my money during these experiences.

The "Brewery Experience" is essentially a pre-paid flight of beer: you choose 4 beers to taste and they give them to you, that's that.

The "Wine Tasting" at "Burning Kiln Winery" is very similar. We were provided 4 tastings of about 1oz of liquid each, each liquid in the SAME glass. The staff, although very friendly, didn't talk to us about the wine, it was more like "choose a wine and we'll pour it and answer any questions" kind of deal. Most of the information I received from the wine was from me reading the menu. Note that we were the only people in there. It felt very rushed, and our "experience" took a total of 15 minutes. Of the dozen or so tastings I've done in my life, this was easily the worst one.

I would recommend this place if you are just using it as a place to stay while seeking adventures elsewhere. The Zip lining, and perhaps the other outdoor experiences could be worth it. Anything dining/tasting/sipping related is basically robbery.
