Sat March 1 2025 ordered a Heritage Rock waffle maker from the website.
Wed March 5 2025 waffle maker was delivered. First used and found that only the lower plate worked, The top was NOT working. I proceeded to order a return slip online. There was an acknowledgement with a work number and a note that I would be contacted with the required info.
3 attempts to contact to inquire When and WHERE the return package was. No return correspondence from Customer Care. No LIVE in LIVE Chat BOX. No way to get through the Customer Service contact line.. . I live nowhere near one of the Stores.. My return was being held hostage with no customer service rep to speak or email with.. VERY POOR customer service..
Sat March 15 2025 I re-routed a visit to Toronto west end to drop into the Vaughan store. I firmly stated my displeasure with the LACK of Customer Service and advised I will NEVER shop Linen Chest again.. The sales rep at the store repeated “ I know” “I know” nothing new for them..
How do we change this? Simply DON’T order thru Linen Chest!! You will be happy you passed them over..

I rediscovered Linen Chest on line and placed 3 on line orders.
Great prices and free delivery shipping.
However their on line customer service needs improvement.
Fortunately, I called the Linen Chest in Vaughan and connected with Wendy, their supervisor.
Because of her , I am giving a 5 star review.
Wendy was so helpful , professional and pleasant!
Visited the Linen Chest on Laird Ave and was so impressed with Abby She was so helpful, pleasant and professional!

Dianny was amazing. Received excellent customer service from her! I was only there to buy 2 small pillows for my new couch. She helped me find all the different ones I liked on their website and then helped me choose the right style that would compliment my sofa.

I was super unimpressed with my visit to this Linen Chest. I ordered a pillow in December and went to pick it up after 3 weeks. When I got to the cashier, the sales associate Abby, informed me she gave it to the person I was with and sent me across the store like an idiot to confirm. Not only was that not the case, she double downed and firmly stated she 100% gave it to us and then said she’d check the cameras.

When we pushed back another sales associate said we pulled the race card. Always funny when a white sales associates say stuff like that.

When they finally tried to rectify the situation they pulled a pillow from the floor and when I said that’s not what I ordered, Abby argued further.

That’s when she realized exactly what I said at the beginning. I hadn’t even shown her my receipt yet. She confused my order with someone else’s. How can you say I already got what I ordered if you didn’t confirm my name or purchase? All of this could’ve been avoided if she just didn’t just assume i was with another person based off my skin colour and asked for my receipt.

Linen Chest, do better. If someone comes in to pick up an order, ask them for proof of purchase. My family and I spend thousands of dollars here and will not be returning.

One of the best stores for home essentials. Great quality products. The store is aesthetically very pleasing and extremely well organized. Products of similar colors are grouped together, which is a visual delight. From bedding, kitchen essentials, curtains, cushions, kitchen appliances to home decor, air fresheners, candles, etc. there is hardly anything the store does not carry. It is a must-visit for anyone wanting to add more quality to their homes. They have some great deals too, which is a bonus.

Came here to purchase a temper-pedic temper-neck pillow and the sale associate was very helpful in figuring out the right size for me. She also mentioned they price match any canadian store. When I went up to ring it with the manager at the checkout, this is when things quickly turned into a negative experience. I inquired about price matching a amazon.ca, which they do but she was pretty hostile, informing me that everything had to be "exact" including the name and packaging. I referenced the origin distributor Temper-Pedic via Amazon.ca and she immediately said no, their pictures of the pillow is not in the packaging that Linen Chest packaged the pillow. I found this very bizarre. I mentioned Temper-Pedic only produces 1 Temper-Neck Pillow (varying sizes) and that it has to be the same one. She gave me a dirty look follow by snarky comments for questioning her in a civil conversation. She then proceeded to go on Amazon.ca via her computer and immediately said no, it says small not large (the size is was buying). I mentioned that the one I referenced off my phone was for a large,and you need to click on large. She wasn't able to do it, and looked at my phone again and said no this says standard large. I reiterated that Temper-Pudic only produces one version of Temper-Neck pillow, and that we can probably assume it's the same pillow even though Linen Chest says Standard Large rather than Large. I asked if I can speak with a manager and she proudly stated that she's the manager and she's been her for 12 years and she knows what she's doing, and she'll price match it this time for me as a favor. I'd argue as a manager, we probably can use a little bit more critical thinking skills to assess the situation and gather all necessary information before communicating something to a customer. This made me feel like I was doing something wrong for purchasing an item at the store and making use of their price match policy. It's very rare that I receive good customer service from an associate then horrible customer service from a manager. As a manager myself, they should be counseled on how to provide better customer service and impacts of good and poor service. As a manager they should be the one setting a strong example for their staff to follow. I reiterate, this was all over a $5 price difference between linen chest pillow over amazon.ca.

I was going to buy a Temper-Pedic LuxAlign but they didn't have a firm for me to demo, so I told the associate I was going to demo it at another store and return to purchase it from Linen Chest because I appreciated her service. That is no longer going to happen. Will never return to this store and purchase the mattress elsewhere.

*Mattress purchased at competitor, customer service matters.

Good selection and variety of quality household items at a reasonable price. In particular, my partner and I received great customer service from Mary, who was friendly and helped us with all of our questions. We ended up choosing this floor lamp, which was wheeled out to my car. I was happy with my experience and would come back to this location.

Needed to purchase a Maison Berger Lamp and found Linen Chest carried these.
Walked into the store and was greeted by a friendly staff member.
Asked her about the Berger lamp and boy was She a Wealth of knowledge.
Helped me out ....alot...cause let's face it...as a guy I was totally clued out to what I was buying!
A friend suggest it and gave me the general low down on this lamp, but thanks to the staff at Linen Chest, I was educated !!!
Bought the lamp and yupp...its does what they say it would do.

No more smelly basement workshop..
