What a waste of gas money and time! First of all, I arrived on time for the 12pm appointment and I was given multiple pages to fill out and after page one was done I realized that I had already done this work online, but the receptionist hadn’t checked. Secondly I waited in the smallest room of any kind of professional room I’ve ever been in for 15 minutes waiting for Ashley Parker the physiotherapist to arrive until finally I went out to the receptionist to ask if the physiotherapist was held up. She didn’t know but said she was going to check. Five minutes later - at 12.20 - there was still no response from the receptionist and no one showed up for my 12pm appointment; angry and claustrophobic I left saying to the receptionist that I was not happy. To make matters worse I had a massage appointment elsewhere that I had to cancel so I could attend the appointment with the no-show physiotherapist.

Went into see an OT today. They were very patient and listened to my long, complicated, and sometimes convoluted story. Asked some really insightful and relevant questions for further clarification about my situation and how I got to where I am. Explained the servicers they could provide in a clear and concise manner. Answered all my questions in a way that was easy to understand, outlined how we could work together and what that would entail for future sessions. I could also tell they read my file (in which there was an intake form I filled out providing a lot of details and history) in advance which I always appreciate and demonstrates high professional practice standards. They were empathetic and understanding and did not appear to be judgmental at all (all of which are qualities that I find extremely important when collaborating with a healthcare professional). It was also noted that consults could be preformed virtually if more convenient which is very much apricated as an option. I look forward to future session working with them. The location was very clean and organized and looked accessible to anyone who might have mobility issues. The administrative staff were also kind and welcoming. A very pleasant experience overall.

Lifemark Physiotherapy on Portland Street is an amazing clinic. The staff were personable and knowledgeable. Ashley took the time to explain my back issue and the treatment options available. I knew physio would help but I was surprised at how quickly the treatment would work. I experienced back pain for several weeks and within three sessions I was on my way to recovery. The staff really know their stuff! I highly recommend this clinic.

Bethany Wright is an amazing massage therapist. I’ve been getting massages for over a decade and from several providers. Bethany is easily the best I’ve seen. She’s punctual, effective and always asks the right questions to determine a client’s needs and concerns. Her technique is lovely , I’m rarely sore after unlike other therapists. She’s super kind and has a great bedside manner

She is very professional, punctual, effective and she perfectly knows what treatment will work best for me each time I have a discomfort. Ashley was my physio during pregnancy and Hollie my kinesiologist. They are amazing and really helped me with my back pain during pregnancy. All the staff at the clinic is just amazing. The last two summers I have been going to Lifemark Portland Street to get some work done on my Achilles. Kathleen Higgins has been great there. Very friendly, does excellent work and knows her stuff well! I would recommend her to anyone that needs physiotherapy for any reason. The rest of the staff that I have dealt with are great as well.
