Dans une région touristique mais cependant quelque peu reculée de l`Ontario où les villages n`abondent pas, ce Motel extrêmement propre et bien tenu peut être une étape utile dans un périple ontarien. Niché dans un bois près d`une route très peu passante, ce Motel a un certain charme qui cependant se paie au prix très fort, l`addition dépassant très largement la valeur réelle de l`étape. Excellent petit déjeuner fait maison non inclus dans l`addition et là aussi extrêmement coûteux. Accueil globalement peu chaleureux avec un refus total de parler le moindre mot de francais

This small, quaint, place is a gem if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful stay. This place is humble, with much heart.

The outdoor pool is kept warm and clean, they have new BBQs, and a convenient hot tub. They even have a geodesic dome available.

The most fantastic part is that the deer crowd around for feeding time in the common area...or watch a pack of wild turkeys run poolside. Lots of places to sit around the complex.

It was so nice, we booked it twice.

Absolutely wonderful stay! We were passing through, and decided to stop for the night. We loved the location and management was very helpful! Before we left we decided to tour the Dome. We actually fell in love with it that we ended up booking it and staying 2 more nights! We had the most incredible stay in the luxurious dome, two nights that felt like pure bliss! The space was beautifully designed, combining comfort with a unique, private atmosphere that made it feel like a true escape. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, from the cozy interior to the little touches that made the stay feel extra special. It offered complete privacy, which made it the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Waking up to the soothing surroundings each morning was so relaxing, and looking out seeing deer just feet away was peaceful and unforgettable. The private amenities like the hot tub, deck and BBQ brought that extra touch to the stay. I loved sitting on the swing watching the sunset then the stars under the Dome.... Beautiful!
We will be back for sure!! Thank you so very much for a great memory!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property! The hosts are friendly and the entire visit was so homely! Harsha and Jag treated us as family. We visited with our parent and kids and the entire visit turned into a home away from home kinds! The heated pool , the rooms very fantastic , clean and so comfortable! The small hike behind the property was awesome and Harsha also guided us with things to do nearby! I am so grateful for our visit to Lakeview! Special kudos to Harsha hand cooked Indian meal that won't over the parents and kids alike! And special thanks to Jag who took care of my foot injury!

My son and I got stranded in Haliburton Village with a broken axle on our vehicle during the Canada Day holiday. Locals recommended the Lakeview Motel to us. They had vacancies, so we booked in for one night in the main building, and one night in their unique geodesic dome. Both were clean and well appointed. The geodesic dome was a FANTASTIC experience, and well worth the price for a night. We were fortunate and had the dome on a clear night. It’s a better experience when the skies are clear, but your hotelier - Harsha - can’t control the weather. Speaking of your hotelier, she was fabulous. You can’t ask for a more polite or helpful person to assist you in your stay there. For the main inn, room rates are higher than what I expect to pay for a similar room in a city. However, we were visiting a smaller market during summer high season. So, my comment about price is not a complaint, but something of which to be aware and reflect on the market and season in which you book. It was a good value for the price we paid.

My Mother and i went up this week to the Lakeview motel for the fourth consecutive summer. We love it up there. The owner Haisha is so kind helpful and accommodating she does everything with a beautiful smile. The staff are extremely helpful especially Jag who helped us any time we needed help. The rooms are spotless and very well decorated. We had a barbecue and a hot tub right outside our room. The grounds are very well maintained. The salt water pool is awesome and so warm and clean. We have already booked our vacation at Lakeview for next year! Looking forward it!

Everything about this stay was just what we were looking for. We had spent the day on motorcycles, we were dirty, tired and hungry. The proprietress wasn't superficially engaging; she was the real deal. A lovely person who genuinely enjoyed doing what she does for her business and her guests. Normally I just want an anonymous experience, but she was so nice to talk to, she was accommodating, she made recommendations that were useful… She was easily half of what made it so great.

And the other half was the room, itself. It was clean (I mean *actually* clean), it was current, and best of all, it was silent and the bed was wonderfully comfortable.

The Lakeview was a welcome respite. It had all the accommodations we were looking for and more. It was evident that Management cared about its buildings, its guests and their experiences. My one regret is that I didn't also order the Indian Breakfast to take with me on my bike.
