What an amazing experience! We have travelled to Canada from Australia and found this beautiful gem. Right from the start Darrell has been fabulous- outstanding communication, flexibility and support. We met Darrell before going to the Cabin and he gifted us some delicious pears and apples from his trees - a lovely welcome ! Whilst it rained for the four days we were here - it didn’t detract from our experience! The cabin has thoughtful touches throughout and everything you need for a great time away. The scenery is incredible and walks through the forest and beaches a must. If you are in the Kootenays this is a must do - a true Canadian experience

The pictures don't do it justice.
The cabin itself is very clean and cozy with enough space to sleep 7 people.
Large East facing windows make for a beautiful morning view of the mountains, lake, and private beach.
A creek runs just feet away from the cabin and makes for excellent white noise to fall asleep to while also spilling into the lake making for a good spot to fish.
There is a great fire pit halfway between the beach and cabin and plenty of firewood for use.
The property itself is very private. My partner and I spent a very lovely week there over Christmas and didn't see a single person the entire time.
The owners are friendly, fast to respond, and very accommodating.
They even cut down and set up a Christmas tree for us.
Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our time here. Nice cabin with beautiful view. Very well equipped. Great beach area. Fun for kids and adults. Close to Kaslo and Ainsworth hot springs.
