I wish I could give a negative star rating, that would better reflect my opinion of Kevin Buhr. I am not going to go into great detail about my situation but here is what you need to know. It started when I had to renew my mortgage on one of my properties. Kevin was recommended by my Realtor so I contacted him. He found me a great deal so I went with him and that's when things went south. I should state that I started this process three months before my mortgage was due so I would be able to take my time and find the best deal. My property was out of the province which was disclosed to Kevin and I knew would cause some issues. As the date got closer to my due date I increased my efforts to try to contact Kevin to get the deal put together. He was difficult to get a hold of and to get answers from. Every time we did talk he re-assured me that there was no problem and not to worry. On the day before my mortgage was up I got a phone call from Kevin telling me that there was a problem and they would not honor our original verbal agreement. I had to find a Lawyer and Notary literally at the last minute, incur more costs that was originally agreed upon all because my work was dealt with at the last minute. The best part of this whole thing was that was the last conversation I ever had with him because he never returned my emails of phone calls after that. I had to go through my bank to get hold of his supervisor to deal with these issues. I have thought of this whole situation and can only come to two possible reasons it played out the way it did.

1. He waited to the last minute to deal with my file and screwed me in the process.
2. He knowingly waited because he new if I knew the real cost I would have taken my business else where.

Needless to say, I will NEVER use this institution again.
