I'm still fuming about my experience with Kelly Insurance. They changed my address on my driver's license to just the land code, without my request. This caused a huge issue when I tried to update my information with the CRA.
Apparently, CRA requires a mailing address on your driver's license to verify your identity. If you don't have it, they'll lock your account. And, as we all know, dealing with the CRA can be a nightmare, with endless wait times on the phone.
Things took a turn for the worse when I returned to the insurance company to resolve the issue. The representative I was working with was overruled by a colleague who wasn't even directly assisting me. This individual, who seemed more interested in asserting authority than helping, refused to reinstate my mailing address on my driver's license.
Despite my efforts to correct the mistake, I was met with resistance. The situation became so frustrating that I had to escalate the matter to SGI, who thankfully stepped in, corrected the issue, and issued a new driver's license.
So, let this be a warning to everyone: when making changes to your driver's license, make sure your mailing address is still included. Trust me, you don't want to deal with the hassle I went through with the CRA.
Myself and my spouse will no longer being doing business there. We do not have time for hassles.

They were very accommodating. We needed plates for a permitted vehicle and were going to arrive close to their closing time, so I called in and did the majority of it over the phone and just had to quickly finalize on arrival. Much appreciated.

My partner and I both had a rough experience in this town. Got my truck impounded and was accused of drinking with no proper protocol or breathalyzer, even though I’m almost 2 years sober. This insurance office has not only helped us fix our out of province insurance and drama but also was the only place that showed compassion and a passion to help get our truck out of impoundment so we could make it to work and school in the best time frame we could have been granted from this awful unjust RCMP experience.
If it wasn’t for the kind staff, especially Julie we would not have been able to figure out what we’ve had to figure out to be able to make it back home.
This lady is hilarious, kind hearted and truly an amazing employee. Thank you Kelly Insurance office for employing these ladies but most importantly Julie. She was the only light for us in a dark time.
