had been working on a mortgage application for around a month with karen, took a bit long because I needed to finish my taxes first, then we decided to add my mom on my mortgage after she told me how much I was able to get by myself.
all was looking good when at the end of the week she said everything should be approved by early next week, then early next week came around and I got a text saying “I cancelled your application” and her reasoning being “because it’s taking long and i’m busy” now i’ve wasted time going through her for a mortgage and now have to redo the whole process with someone else, genuinely seems like she’s bitten more then she can chew and does not care about other ppls time.

Karen is the best! I thought that getting a pre approval and subsequent approval was a distant phenomenon but Karen used her expertise and knowledge of what’s available to a first time home buyer to help me see that owning a home could be a reality for me. She made suggestions that no other mortgage agent or specialist told me about and today, I not only have a home, but also a car. All this was possible with Karen. What I value most about her is that she is a perfect educator. She knew how to explain everything so that I could understand in lay man’s terms and she was patient with me when I still didn’t get it. She was very transparent and I loved that she was an advocate for me as well. I utilized her services for my first home and I will definitely use them again in the future. You should too!!

Thank you Karen for making the first time home buying process so easy!
Karen was available for us at all times. The whole process was done online and it was super easy to work with her. She is very knowledgeable, dedicated, caring and helpful.
Until the very last minute when our offer got accepted, she monitored the mortgage rates and got us the best rate possible. She was always willing to help and answered all the questions we had. One big question was variable vs. fixed rate mortgage - she gave her honest opinion and we were able to decide with peace of mind.
