Just Johns Pizza, Pasta and Wings - Jarvis, Ontario

Every week, my family and I—nine of us in total, spanning from grandparents to grandkids—gather for a family dinner. Whether it's a home-cooked meal or dining out at a local restaurant, we rarely miss our weekly tradition.

This week, my father in-law made reservations at Just Johns - Jarvis, located at 2005 Main Street North. Having never been there before, he was eager to try it, and I’m glad we did—it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Our server was excellent, the food was outstanding, and it was a dining experience I’m eager to repeat. Our table ordered a wide variety of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, giving us a solid sampling of the menu.

I personally ordered the spinach dip with naan, wings, and the Just Johns poutine. The spinach dip was a hit at the table—everyone wanted "just one bite," which quickly turned into two or three, and it was gone before we knew it! I followed that up with half an order of garlic parmesan wings and half an order of buffalo wings. To cap off the meal, I tackled the poutine, which was much larger than I expected. The Just Johns poutine was incredible, topped with blue cheese, cheddar, shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, gravy, and onions—definitely not for the faint-hearted!

The French onion soup reminded me of the one served at the now-closed Christian's Restaurant in the Simcoe Mall—a classic, made fresh to order.

While I didn’t try the burger, it's made in-house, and my brother-in-law was so impressed that he made sure to check if he could get it for takeout when passing through town for work.

The fettuccine Alfredo, another popular dish, came in a generous portion, with the Alfredo sauce made fresh in-house, just like many of their sauces, including pizza and pasta sauces.

Overall, Just Johns - Jarvis left us with a memorable dining experience that I would happily return to in the future.

For a small town vibes this is a good place to stop.
Wings I had was salty . The bacon wrapped halipino thing was great though. Try it. They beer was cold just right . Stop here if passing through you will not regret it. The guys has the wraps and I was told it was good. Nothing was left on any plates .

6 people out for dinner on a Saturday night. We had reservations. We were seated promptly in the side room. We ordered starters that took well over an hour to get out. All our meals came out at different times. Some were eating while others waited. Then some were done eating and had to watch the others finish. Lol. The waitress tried her best but not sure what happened. The food was ok nothing stood out. The place is dated and could use a refresh. We were never told why the timing was off. Not sure if I could recommend this place to another group.

🤪🤑All I want to say, there is no place in this town, called Jarvis, that would make a good tasting pizza...
The owners of this 'Just Johns Pizza' and the person who runs that Titto's pizza place down the street could meet and congratulate each other on how terrible tasting pizzas they make....

Both of these places should just stop serving this kind of food to general public....They will never see me again...

❗️Warning for all: hard to say which of those two places is worse when it comes to what they sell as pizzas.....
They do not even know....they cannot possibly know how a well made pizza tastes....or they just do not care what they serve, which is even worse

Now I have to drive all the way to Hamilton to find a place that serves something one can call pizza...at least close what a real Italian pizza should taste like

Most business these days just do not give a damn...money ..money..that's what they care about....not one more dollar of my money will go to these two businesses...that's for sure

We were just heading back to Mississauga and were passing by this restaurant and we just wanted a snack.
But when we tried the first bite we almost finished everything on the plate, the taste was so good and the prices were kept.
I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our favourite restaurant. So hard to try all the good food. Always bring home
left overs, portions are very generous. Staff is so friendly. Clean friendly atmosphere. Love it and so do all our friends

Ordered a pizza and wings combo. Wings were great and pizza was awesome. Nice big slices with a perfect amount of char, cheese and sauce was great. The girl that helped me was sweet as pie! Great service
