JD is great, with his incredible customer service and turn around time. As a first-time home buyer, I would recommend him to other newbies looking into home ownership! JD is very meticulous in examining documents and quick at catching any issues/discrepancies to ensure a smooth path.

At the start of the process, I was a bit irritated at how many documents he asked from me (partly my fault because I had too many financial accounts), but I later found out that such thorough review is a normal part of a good mortgage broker work. Because he took care of most documentation review at pre-approval stage, subsequent actual approval was quite smooth.

He goes out of his way to answer all of client's questions, however trivial. JD's customer service makes clients feel valued and respected. I am normally a big DIY person for personal finances, but for mortgage, I am glad I went with a broker like JD. Mortgage brokers do earn by commission, which means that I probably did not get the cheapest rate; however, I discovered how such underlying fees are well warranted. Given JD's diligence and drive for excellence, I as the client benefited with convenience and more than decent rate that would have been otherwise difficult to obtain on own.

I greatly appreciate JD's advice and service, and would likely work with him again in the future for renewal/refinance as needed.
