If you’re in the Gore Bay area, this lighthouse attraction is definitely worth a stop. Entrance is free, though it does operate on donations, and every little bit helps support the upkeep and maintenance of this site.

The lighthouse itself is rich with history. There’s information available about its past, including details about former lighthouse keepers and the role the lighthouse played in the area's development. While you can’t go all the way to the top, due to safety concerns, it doesn’t take away from the overall experience.

The setting is picturesque, also located right in front of the water. It's a peaceful, scenic spot to explore and learn something new.

Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Make sure to check the opening hours in advance, as it’s not open to the public every day.

The nicest lighthouse on the island. A short drive down a there and back road. Lots of parking and an outhouse. The water is right there as well. The lighthouse opens for tours. It was open when I was there but I didn't have time to go inside.

One of the best place to see the sunset where the sun actually sets in the water on a clear day. The light house is ok type but the sunset is beautiful. Beside the lighthouse the whole beach area is private which blocks the view but you can mange a space on the side to enjoy the sunset
