On a recent trip to Jasper, we stopped by the Islamic Society of Edson, and it was a wonderful experience. The mosque is located at 4831 4 Ave in Edson, AB, and is both welcoming and thoughtfully designed.

The ambiance inside is peaceful, with a clean and well-maintained prayer area that instantly makes you feel comfortable. They also have a separate, private area for women, which is well-organized and ensures a welcoming experience for everyone.

Overall, this mosque is a great spot to stop and pray if you're traveling in the area. The warmth and care the community has put into maintaining the space is evident, and we’re grateful for this welcoming place.

We just attended the Friday prayer here on our road trip from New Jersey, USA. It felt like a home away from home. People were so friendly and there were signs everywhere for travelers and visitors to enjoy snacks on the house provided by the mosque. Very good vibes from the mosque and the Friday prayer attendees.

MashaAllah...it is so great to have a super clean, nice and cozy mosque in Edson. It makes our trip to/from Jasper and Banff so much worth it. Praying area is so spacious, even have room for ladies too, with huge common room downstairs, kitchen area, separate men and women washroom. May Allah blessed Edson community who makes great effort to build such an amazing mosque.
