I love this beach.. the only negative point is, proper toilets and changing rooms are not available.. pot-a-potty is disgusting thing for me..
The beach is shallow and sand is soft.. no pebbles or weeds.. parking is free and there are few restaurants near by and rental kayak is also also available.

We went on a weekend which we never do.
Found parking and walked far along the beach to find a spot with less beings.
Next time, we'll be arriving during the week to avoid the extra.
One thing, this isn't the beaches fault but the visitors, there was lots of garbage left over, broken toys from the days play, plastic containers at waters edge.
Our friends cleaned up the space to leave no trace. If we all did a little or just didn't litter on the beaches to begin with.
But other than that, shallow warm water and no under tows.

Absolutely gorgeous beach. Shallow, warm and clean. Less crowded than Grand Bend but equally as beautiful. It's great for kids. It's in a residential area so be sure to bring your food and drinks. I would suggest that you arrive by 10 am and park at Army Camp Road if you visit on a Saturday.

Beautiful little beach. As it was off season, not many souls in sight. So quiet and peaceful. Easy access from parking lot. Washrooms closed, but they do have two clean port-a-johns. Nice large area for boat access as well. Shallow and calm, dogs were allowed on leash as well.

This is a really nice spot! Great sand, great waves. The only downside was the lack of actual beach area. Although, I won't complain too much about that. Where we were sitting, the water would sometime reach up to our lawn chairs and caused us to sink into the sand which was entertaining. I wish there was more sandy beach area, but we made do with what we had. We were just feet from the boat launch spot and a short distance away was a bathroom. Although I wouldn't really call it much of a bathroom; it was a hole in the ground with a stall and a seat over top of it. Didn't smell too horrible in the one, but the other one smelled horrid!
Overall, it is a pretty little beach.

This is our beach for when we want to be in the water all day. It doesn't get too deep and doesn't have the undertoe like Port Stanley, so I'm not always on edge watching for the water/waves to change to get the kids to come out. We spend hours here. The beach and water are clean and well kept.

This beach is one of the best on Lake Huron. It is not one of the over run popular beaches where you can't find a place to park your umbrella. The beach has a washroom, adequate parking, an easy walk to the beach. The sand is clean, as is the water. Easy to get to off Highway 21.
