Upon the recommendation of a close friend, my husband and I worked with Mario as our broker when we purchased our first house in 2020. We ended up buying in a neighbourhood we didn't think we would be able to afford but with Mario's guidance, our dreams came to life AND roughly 50k below our pre-approval limit. He helped us navigate the nuances of dealing with lenders and was incredibly receptive to requests. I really don't know how he manages to get so much done in a day! We were impressed to learn he works with +15 financial institutions (at least at the time in 2020), so you're guaranteed the best rate. When we went to our real estate lawyer's to sign closing documents and hand over our cheque, he noticed the interest rate Mario got us and was surprised that it was the same rate he had just renewed at on his house! I can't believe to this day we still get annual holiday and birthday greetings from Mario along with a subscription to a home decor magazine -- I always look forward to what trends await in the next issue!
