I have on star because I had to, to leave a comment! Avoid! They provide the name of eligible providers and then deny claims for that provider. They don’t like to provide explanations for why they deny claims for things you have coverage for. Cannot provide appropriate customer service. Would recommend another provider such as blue cross.

Industrial Alliance will actively ignore phone calls, emails and messages until the 30 day document submittal period has expired, then refuse coverage. This is done in attempt to avoid paying for items such as Orthopodic shoes or Health spending accounts, which are things they don't actually want the client to use because it reduces their overall profit. This is some of the shadiest business practice I have ever experienced and any employer using this service should be downright embarrassed.

For small claims that too HSA and Wellness programs, they put too much scrutiny even for small amounts of $10, $20. They make it very difficult and take too much time in processing of claims. Penny wise pound foolish!!

It's worse insurance company. Never took this insurance . They are robbing to the people. If you have to take your claim you have to go in court. Evan you gave them all the documentation. No knowledge to employees. They are giving more stress. We took insurance for our security and paying. But they never listen. Making excuses.

Purchased the superior recreational vehicle extended warranty for our travel trailer. Our fridge broke down while on holidays, thankfully it hung in off and on till we were able to bring to a dealership. The fridge is apparently discontinued and therefore parts are also unavailable. One would think the fridge would be either fixed or replaced. This apparently isn't iA's policy. They originally offered $180 for the part (keep in mind it needs a new rv fridge). Our dealership went to bat for us and managed to have management approve $1350 (which doesn't come close to paying for this new fridge). We are on the hook for the remainder. We've spoke to a supervisor who insists they weren't budging and all they are responsible for is repairing it and because it can't be repaired, it's not their problem. Not exactly sure what we paid $1800 + for. Would definitely not recommend this extended warranty as they do not stand behind their product.

Worst Health insurance company ever!!! They claim 100% drug coverage and my drug claims have never been 100%. I’ve phoned and complained EVERY SINGLE CLAIM we’ve had with them. Pay them quite a bit a year and barely got any return from them. Better off pocketing your money and paying for all health expenses out of pocket. Do not give these people your money!!!
