I just switched from Shoppers and the people that work at IDA are amazing. So friendly. Very quick. My medications is always ready within a couple hours and they ALWAYS have the right amount of medication in stock making me only need to come by once or twice a month. Thank you to everyone at IDA Pharmacy!

Absolutely fantastic pharmacist !!! People have a variety of medical conditions and all they want is a pharmacy that will ask how you’re doing and most of all understand your health. The other pharmacy in town has the most unfriendly staff, and they aren’t compassionate or even kind. The owner sulks and doesn’t smile, instead looks at you with judgemental eyes, embarrassing you while speaking loudly about your medication in front of others. That’s why I love the IDA staff they are super respectful and have taken very good care of me. That’s a pharmacy. Maybe the others could learn something about making assumptions about their customers .

Your employee who was at the Post Office later on in the day was absolutely no help at all.
1st of all in the middle of our conversation she had to run into the back room to get papers.
2nd of all she said that she could not help us out due to her being busy and we had to go to the main Post Office.
What the heck, what nice customer service you gave us!!
I did go to a different post office on the Coast and had such amazing customer service.

My husband broke his leg in a workplace accident, after surgery in Vancouver we made it back to the coast with his prescriptions in hand, only to find because of a late ferry we'd miss the pharmacy- it was closing. The pharmacist was amazing talked to us several times enroute to make sure he had what we needed and also offered to stay late until we got there, then offered his help to me to pick out additional aids. THANKS! You made it bearable:)

Pharmacy department is entirely useless. I called at 8am to get my prescription filled and prescription transfered from a different pharmacy and the pharmacist entirely forgot to do the transfer and only remembered when I showed up 3 hours later to pick it up and she had not phoned the other pharmacy for the transfer yet. When I returned an hour after that to pick up she told me they didn't have my medication (even though I asked if they had it specifically when I called). Both pharmacists on shift were not wearing masks while working. Eventually they offered to fax my prescription elsewhere, and when I said I was going there immediately they said ok and then did not fax my prescription to the other pharmacy until I got there and the other pharmacy had to call them. I also want to point out there were no other customers there either time I was there. Terrible experience. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Try the Guardian or Pharmasave for much better service, much kinder staff.
