I very highly recommend Honora Bay Riding Stable for trail rides! Kyla and her team are amazing! They provide excellent instruction to ensure safety and well being of both the horses and riders - some never rode before. The horses are happy, fit and beautifully cared for.

Really awesome experience! The staff are super helpful and friendly and made our first horse-riding experience very pleasant and fun. We did the hour-long trail ride and we all loved it. The price is great, especially compared to similar experiences in the GTA, and we will definitely come again next time we’re back in Manitoulin.

I went horseback riding here as a kid, and it was such a memorable experience! Kyla is so great with the horses, and I fondly recall riding horses Jack and Sundance. The animals are very well cared for.

My Father-in-law, 13 yr old son and I went on a trail ride Saturday morning and it was great! We haven’t been on horses in a long time and we felt very comfortable and looked after. It is obvious that they love their horses and they are happy and healthy. The trail was beautiful through fields and forest. Wear long pants because of sticks in the brush. We even saw a beautiful deer with babies that lives on the trail. I 100% recommend and will be visiting again in the future!

We had a great time at Honora Bay Stables - we were lucky enough to get booked in last minute for their beginner level trail. We got great instructions and loved our horses - I would 100% go back for their longer more challenging trail ride if I’m by myself.

I and my girlfriend had a really great experience at Honora. It was my first time riding and the staff made sure that I enjoyed every part of it. My horse Peaches and I had a wonderful time. We went for 1 hour trail ride this time but we are planning to return next year for 2 hour session or even stay at the ranch overnight.

Great bunch of ladies. Horses are beautiful! Scenic rides, not for the faint hearted if you want to do the 2 hour ride. But they are honest and tell you up front that its a difficult ride. If you're a beginner do the hour ride.

Throughly enjoyed the 1hr trail ride we did earlier this week. Staff was friendly, the horses were well behaved & the trails were in great shape. Definitely recommend this place if you're on the island.
