Always really wonderful care here. In the lab and emergency they are quick but also take the time to listen and treat. Every staff I have had contact with has been so lovely and caring. Thank you endlessly for all your hard work!

Absolutely terrible hospital. Went with my sister due to extreme tooth pain since the dentist wasn’t opened yet, and they said they wouldn’t have a doctor until 7, so we waited for 3 hours until 7 when the doctor was supposed to have arrived. By 10PM still no word of a doctor, and the nurses were just completely ignoring us the entire time while my sister was sitting and crying in the waiting room the pain was so bad, refusing to give any kind of painkillers or anything to help with her pain until she could see the doctor. Ended up leaving at 11PM because we still hadn’t seen a doctor and my sister just wanted to leave at that point.

If it's a dying emergency or baby being born, physio or anything like that - yeah go.
Emergency or doctor referrals, appointments or anything you need help with quickly? Go anywhere but here.
Health care crisis at this hospital is SO bad there's times with NO doctor on site and no rooms for people with severe pain and problems.
This place is not comfortable to wait in given the lack of space and seating..
Sad to say this is our ONLY option of doctor emergency care in this town..

We came here for a sore foot as we were backpacking through the country for one year.
Very friendly staff all through the clinic, the doctor even checked twice the xray fee and asked in advance if we got an insurance that covers things like that as we‘re from Germany.
Totally recommend this place even for foreign travelers!

I had an c-section here, and while recovering, two nurses came in to put my IV in, one was a shadow obviously cos she looked very young, but she was clearly getting her head booted in by the senior nurse who obviously thought the shadow was incompetent. I tried not to laugh out loud when the senior nurse said the shadow nurse’s perfect IV job wasn’t good enough, then proceeded to collapse every available vein in both my arms (the senior nurse did, not the young nurse who did a great job ) Lucky I’m not squeamish around needles (I give blood) cos wow, a third nurse had to come in and stick it in my hand which hurt. 💀 Props to the new nurse though, super friendly and didn’t fold over laughing too when I was being jabbed left AND right. 😂😂👍 also, the doctors at this hospital are not super professional at all. Except my OB of course, she was amazing.
I had a terrible experience with being dismissed when I was in 10/10 pain with a neck injury. They gave me an Ativan and an ibuprofen and told me I was being dramatic 💀 my neck couldn’t support the weight of my head for 5 days! And for 3 weeks I couldn’t turn my head—ohhhhh my god, the chiro I had to go through…. I wish I could give 0 stars for that alone. They did no xray, they basically just tilted my head upright which made me burst into tears and I have a pretty high pain tolerance, and then the doc just sat there and made me feel crazy and like I was wasting their time on a slooooow day. I got sent home 20 mins later.
I feel horrible for the good nurses and docs there cos the bad ones must make working there a living fkn hell. They have my sympathies.

I was transported from jasper to the hinton hospital, only to discover I needed surgery. They preformed at the hospital that night, my family left because they couldn't stay and I was with alot of strangers. My surgeon Joel and Eric and the rest of the team made me feel comfortable. I felt cared for and taken care of, it was my first surgary and I was pretty scared. I know I had great people with me and it helped alot, I wouldn't have had it any other way. My nurse Jessica was fantastic she took care of me all night even talk to me for a while. I hope to never need surgery again but if I did I would want to be at hinton hospital.

Had major abdominal surgery under Genetal Anaesthetic yesterday. Surgery was a little behind schedule due to unforseen circumstances due to apatient ahead of me, but ALL of the staff was wonderful. Made me feel comfortable and wellcared for. Because of their amazing treatment I felt well enough to go home 5 hours later and this was my choice. They reassured me that if I wanted to stay that I could but was up to me. I appreciated them listening to me and recognizing my wishes. Like I said everyone was great. Thank you all!
