What a great way to spend the day out on the water alongside nature and its beauty. The staff were very friendly and informative, and their equipment is well taken care of. We did the trip from Paris to Brantford at a slow pace which brought us to 4.5 hours. Awesome company and experience, we look forward to the next trip down the Grand through them!

Overall positive experience. Things to watch out for...

The grand river rafting is inside grand river conservation park. Forget the Jennings road.

Your entrance fee to the provincial park is included with your rafting fee and if you wish to swim in the beautiful provincial outdoor pool you pay a mere $2.50 per person.... a great surprise bonus!

We were surprised with some basic safety measures missing such as flimsy wobbling hand rail steps down to the water with a big drop that could be a problem for most older adults.

The students working seemed to be serious and somewhat disconnected and disinterested in their duties. One of the owners spoke and was knowledgeable yet not very practical with giving specifics on how to guage just where you were in the journey.

We expected staff to be coming along the journey in case of anyone needing assistance, but no.... you are totally on your own whether you know what you are doing or not....

they said the water was only 3 feet deep... that is incorrect.... I checked several times an found at times it was 5 to 6 feet deep also ...

There needs to be more markers on the way to indicate where you are on your journey so you can at least tell someone where you are in case of needing help.... I only noticed one sign I happened to accidentally view since the floating tube I was using does spin around once In a while.

Overall it was a peaceful and fun activity that we were pleased we went on. Fortunately everything went well.

Well priced for what you get I felt. It was fun.

We were a walk-in group of 5. None of us are swimmers. So we decided to the short five oaks route. Jessica was really helpful with getting us all setup on the next available shuttle. We were suggested to do a 8-people raft, where we would be all together. It was definitely a fun activity on Grand River and the weather was just perfect. It felt peaceful surrounded by nature. We all had a great time! Highly recommend 👌

I went on a river rafting trip with my friends and it was truly exhilarating! The guides were top-notch, knowledgeable, and made sure our safety was their top priority. The scenery was breathtaking, and the rapids were thrilling!

The entire operation was well-organized, from the initial briefing to the final splash. The equipment was in great condition, and the staff were friendly and enthusiastic.

Challenged the stream from Paris to Brant Park. Beautiful landscape, with lots of wildlife. But the flow seems to be really slow on the day we went so a lot of exercise has been done to reach the end 🙂‍↔️🥹

A few months back, I decided to try something new and booked a rafting trip with the Grand River Rafting Company. Let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of thrilling.

It was a beautiful summer day when our group of four families decided to take a trip to Paris, Ontario, known as the prettiest small city in Canada. We were excited to spend the day outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and each other's company.

We planned a potluck lunch and each family brought their own unique dish. There were sandwiches, salads, fruit trays, bhuna khichuri, egg omelets, beef bhuna, Kabab, different types of bhorta, and lots of snacks to munch on throughout the day. We brought a watermelon, which was a welcomed addition on such a hot day.

We found a great spot by the Grand River, where we set up our picnic blankets and enjoyed our meal. The kids ran around and played games while the adults chatted and relaxed in the shade.

After lunch, we decided to check out the Grand River Rafting Company. The scenery was breathtaking, and we saw lots of wildlife along the way, including beavers, ducks, and even a heron.

The day was perfect, and we all agreed that we should do it again soon.

As the sun began to set, we made our way back to our picnic area, We packed up our things and headed back home, grateful for the memories we had made in the prettiest small city in Canada.
